Abstract

Kesehatan saat ini menjadi hal utama ditengah masyarakat dan tidak terbentuk hanya sebatas pada lingkungan yang sehat atau pelayanan kesehatan, tetapi juga memperhatikan faktor perilaku dari setiap individu. Perilaku individu yang mengabaikan kesehatan dapat menjadi awal berkembangnya berbagai penyakit. Maka dari itu, dibutuhkan praktik kebersihan diri atau personal hygiene, baik pada orang yang sehat maupun pada orang yang sakit. Praktik personal hygiene yang paling penting diperhatikan oleh perempuan adalah kebersihan organ intim, karena organ intim perempuan (vagina) rentan mengalami masalah, misalnya infeksi vagina. Masalah atau penyakit pada vagina juga bisa merambat ke organ reproduksi lainnya, dapat menyebabkan kemandulan dan kanker leher rahim (serviks). Kebersihan organ intim ini perlu diperhatikan khususnya ketika berada di toilet umum, karena toilet umum menjadi kebutuhan saat berada diluar rumah dan organ intim mengalami kontak langsung dengan lingkungan luar, penularan penyakit antar pengguna sangat mungkin terjadi. Di Indonesia, toilet umum masih banyak yang belum memenuhi standar higienitas dan amenities yang ada sehingga menimbulkan keresahan. Maka dibutuhkan perancangan alat bantu yang nyaman untuk membersihkan organ intim perempuan saat berada diluar rumah, sehingga dapat menjaga dan memberikan rasa aman. Perancangan ini disesuaikan juga dengan kebiasaan yang ada di tengah masyarakat. Proses perancangan ini mengacu pada observasi dan pengumpulan data yang akurat serta aktual. Sehingga diperoleh pemecahan masalah dengan variabel utama yaitu ringkas, optimal, ergonomi, dan media air. / Currently, health is the main thing in society and is not only limited to a healthy environment or health services but also pays attention to the behavioral factors of each individual. Individual behavior that ignores health can trigger many various diseases. Therefore, it is important to practice personal hygiene, both not only for healthy people but also for sick people. For women's hygiene practice, it is very important to pay attention to the cleanliness of the intimate organs, because the female intimate organs (vagina) are susceptible to diseases, such as vaginal infections. The vaginal disease can also spread to other reproductive organs and can cause infertility and cervical cancer (cervix). The cleanliness of this intimate organ needs to be considered, especially when in public toilets because public toilets become a necessity when someone is outside the house and intimate organs are in direct contact with the outside environment, disease transmission between users is very likely to occur. In Indonesia, there are still many public toilets that do not meet existing hygiene and amenities standards, causing unrest for users. Based on these problems, it takes the design of a comfortable device to clean women's intimate organs when outside the house, so that it can maintain and provide a sense of security. Along the lines of the design process, the design must be adapted from the habits that exist in the community. This design process refers to accurate and actual data and observation. So the problem solving is obtained with the main variables, which are compact to carry, optimal to clean, ergonomics, and use of clean water media.
