Abstract

Dalam masalah keterbatasan lahan bagi rumah tinggal bagi masyarakat di Indonesia dapat diatasi dengan dibangunnya Tiny House sebagai pengganti rumah pada umumnya. Walaupun dengan ukuran hunian yang lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan hunian pada umumnya Tiny House tetap dapat berfungsi seperti rumah-rumah pada umumnya. Sebab didalam Tiny House akan ada furnitur-furnitur yang memenuhi segala kebutuhan dari penghuninya. Furniturnya tentu bukan furnitur biasa melainkan furnitur yang multifungsi, agar seluruh aktivitas dalam ruang lingkup Tiny House yang kecil dapat terfasilitasi. Selain itu furniturnya juga yang berkelanjutan karena Tiny House selain mengatasi masalah keterbatasan lahan, juga mengatasi masalah lingkungan. Dengan adanya furnitur yang berkelanjutan maka akan membantu dalam menjaga lingkungan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis furnitur multifungsi dan berkelanjutan yang ada pada Tiny House. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus mengenai furnitur multifungsi dan berkelanjutan yang dilihat kesesuaiannya dengan kriteria-kriteria yang ada pada Cradle to Cradle Certified./The problem of limited land for housing for people in Indonesia can be overcome by the construction of a Tiny Houses as a substitute for houses in general. Even though the size of the dwelling is smaller than the average dwelling, the Tiny House can still function like houses in general. Because in the Tiny House there will be furniture that meets all the needs of its residents. The furniture is certainly not ordinary furniture but multifunctional furniture so that all activities within the scope of a small Tiny House can be facilitated. In addition, the furniture is also sustainable because Tiny House not only solves the problem of limited land but also overcomes environmental problems. Sustainable furniture will help in protecting the environment. This research was conducted to analyze the multifunctional and sustainable furniture in Tiny House. The research method used is a case study on multifunctional and sustainable furniture which is seen as conformity with the criteria of Cradle to Cradle Certified.
