Abstract

Sebuah Perusahaan interior atau arsitektur memerlukan sebuah nilai filosofi yang mendasari terbentuknya desain yang dibuatnya. Hal dikarenakan banyak orang memandang karya desain interior berbentuk wujud ataupun wadah yang kasat mata. Ruang nampak megah di dalam suatu bangunan, seolah-olah ialah ruangan mati tanpa terdapatnya nilai ataupun arti yang berarti. Tetapi bila kita mengkaji lebih dalam lagi mengenai suatu karya desain interior, di dalamnya pasti dibutuhkan suatu nilai yang tidak bisa dilihat dalam wujud bentuk asli ialah sesuatu nilai filosofi yang mendasari terciptanya ruang tersebut. Filosofi ini menjadi sebuah pegangan bagi desainer dalam menciptakan desain yang bermakna bagi pengguna ruangnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif serta pengumpulan data secara langsung dengan wawancara principal dan observasi studio Arti Design. Dengan tujuan untuk menerjemahkan filosofi “meaningful”nya. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode studi kasus komparatif yang dimana membandingkan proyek dengan tipe yang berbeda, yaitu proyek F & B serta proyek non F & B. Filosofi meaningful yang terdapat pada studio Arti Design akan dianalisis kembali pada proyek studi kasusnya. Melalui hasil penelitian, didapati bahwa filosofi studio Arti Desain terlihat dari proyek yang dibuatnya. Hal ini memperlihatkan makna yang terkandung dari desain yang ditangani. / An interior or architectural company requires a philosophical value that underlies the formation of the designs. This is why, many people view interior design works as tangible forms or vessel. Space looks majestic in a building, as if it is a dead room without any meaningful value or meaning. But if we examine more deeply about an interior design work, it definitely requires something of value that cannot be seen in its original form, which is a philosophical value that underlies the creation of the space. This philosophy becomes a guide for designers in creating designs that are meaningful for the users of their space. The research method used is qualitative and direct data collection with principal interviews and Arti studio observations. With the aim of translating his “meaningful” philosophy. The data were analyzed using a comparative case study method which compares projects with different types, namely F & B projects and non-F & B projects. Meaningful philosophy in Arti's studio will be analyzed again in the case study project. Through the results of the research, it was found that the philosophy of the Arti Design studio can be seen from the projects it made. This shows the implied meaning of the design being handled.
