Abstract

Keterbatasan lahan dan kepadatan penduduk di Jakarta berdampak pada tempat tinggal penduduk sehingga menjadikan hunian vertikal sebagai solusi. Akan tetapi, sebagian besar hunian vertikal yaitu apartemen di Jakarta kurang ramah anak (Child-Friendly) karena kondisi tipologi eksisting apartemen dengan jumlah lantai yang banyak dan tinggi menjadikan hunian terkesan padat yang mempengaruhi psikologis anak yang menghuninya karena merasa terkurung. Serta masih banyak berita kecelakaan anak pada apartemen di Jakarta. Sebagian besar apartemen di Jakarta juga tidak ramah hewan (Pet-Friendly) yang tidak memperbolehkan hewan peliharaan masuk dengan alasan keamanan dan kesehatan. Sedangkan, hewan peliharaan mempunyai banyak manfaat bagi pemiliknya baik dari anak-anak maupun orang dewasa. Konsep Child-Friendly dan Pet-Friendly memiliki kriteria masing-masing yang perlu diperhatikan untuk mewujudkan konsep pada bangunan apartemen dan lingkungannya. Kriteria Child-Friendly dan Pet-Friendly memiliki persamaan penerapan konsep pada bangunan dan lingkungan. Kriteria kedua konsep bertujuan untuk mendukung kenyamanan dan kebutuhan user yang beraktivitas didalamnya. Untuk menciptakan bangunan dan lingkungan yang berkonsep Child-Friendly dan Pet-Friendly, maka diperlukan integrasi kriteria yang mencakup semua kebutuhan terutama bagi anak dan juga hewan dengan kriteria Mixed Use, Building Facilities, Walkable Neighborhood, Aksesibilitas Bangunan, Natural Environment & Preserve Open Space dan Sirkulasi Bangunan. Proses perancangan dibantu dengan pengumpulan data melalui studi kasus berdasarkan keenam kriteria penerapan konsep dengan cara observasi langsung. Studi kasus yang digunakan adalah empat apartemen yang terletak di daerah Jakarta dan Tangerang. Data yang dikumpulkan digunakan untuk dianalisis dan ditarik kesimpulan sebagai acuan untuk membuat strategi rancangan desain apartemen. Strategi rancangan desain apartemen dengan konsep Child-Friendly dan Pet- Friendly berdasarkan hasil kesimpulan analisis studi kasus dengan beberapa aspek yang perlu diperhatikan yaitu Aspek Konteks, Akspek Spasial, Aspek Formal, dan Aspek Tektonik. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari Perancangan Desain Apartemen Dengan Pendekatan Konsep Child-Friendly dan Pet-Friendly adalah untuk mengetahui strategi rancangan desain yang baik untuk mengatasi masalah yang telah dirumuskan./Limited land and population density in Jakarta have an impact on where people live, making vertical housing a solution. However, most of the vertical housing (Apartments) in Jakarta, are not Child-Friendly because the existing typology of apartments with a large number of floors and height makes the dwellings seem congested which affects the psychology of the children who inhabit them because they feel confined. And there are still many news of child accidents at apartments in Jakarta. Most apartments in Jakarta are also not Pet-Friendly which does not allow pets to enter for safety and health reasons. Meanwhile, pets have many positive benefits for their owners (both children and adults). The Child-Friendly and Pet-Friendly concepts have their respective criteria that need to be considered to realize the concept of apartment buildings and their environment. The Child- Friendly and Pet-Friendly criteria have the same concept in applying to buildings and the environment. Both criteria of the concept aims to support the comfort and needs of users who living it. To create buildings and environments with Child- Friendly and Pet-Friendly concepts, it is necessary to integrate criteria that cover all needs, especially for children and also animals with the criteria of Mixed Use, Building Facilities, Walkable Neighborhood, Building Accessibility, Natural Environment & Preserve Open Space and Building Circulation. The research method is study analysis based on the six criteria for applying the concept by direct observation and data collection. The case studies are four apartments located in Jakarta and Tangerang. The data collected is used for analysis and conclusions are drawn as a reference for making apartment design strategies. The apartment design strategy with the concept of Child-Friendly and Pet-Friendly are based on the conclusions of the case study analysis with several aspects that need to be considered, there are Context Aspects, Spatial Aspects, Formal Aspects, and Tectonic Aspects. Therefore, the purpose of research on Apartment with Child- Friendly and Pet-Friendly Concept Approach is to find out a good design strategy to overcome the research problem that has been studied.
