Abstract

Populasi di Indonesia selalu meningkat, dimana rata-rata pertumbuhan penduduknya selama tahun 2010-2020 sebesar 1.49%. Pertumbuhan penduduk akan menciptakan kebutuhan akan hunian semakin tinggi. Akan tetapi, luas tanah yang tersedia saat ini khususnya di kota-kota besar di Indonesia tidak sebanding dengan kebutuhan tersebut. Selain itu, karena lahan yang semakin sedikit, harga tanah yang tesedia juga semakin mahal. Dengan demikan perancangan ini dilakukan untuk merancang hunian yang dapat dibangun pada lahan yang sempit dengan harganya terjangkau. Perancangan awal ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode studi literatur. Studi literatur ini menjelaskan tentang compact living dan compact housing. End user dalam penelitian ini adalah kaum milenial yang termasuk mahasiswa atau fresh graduate dan pasangan yang baru menikah. Hasil penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab kriteria dan persyaratan apa yang dibutuhkan dalam area compact housing yang nyaman, program ruang dan elemenelemen arsitektur apa yang dapat membuat area compact housing yang nyaman serta bagaimana strategi desain area compact housing yang memiliki fasilitas lengkap, nyaman, dan multi-fungsi pada lahan sempit kota. Secara singkat yang diprioritaskan adalah luas rumah yang compact dengan penggunaan ruang yang harus effisien dan multi-fungsi. / The population in Indonesia is always increasing, where the average population growth during 2010-2020 is 1.49%. Population growth will create a higher demand for housing. However, the currently available land area, especially in big cities in Indonesia, is not commensurate with these needs. In addition, due to the scarcity of land, the price of available land is also increasingly expensive. Thus, this conceptual planning was conducted to design a dwelling that can be built on a narrow land at an affordable price. This conceptual planning utilize literature study method. This literature study explains about compact living and compact housing. The end users in this study are millennials including students, bachelors, and newly weds. The results of this study are expected to answer what criteria and requirements are needed in a comfortable compact housing area, what space programs and architectural elements can make a comfortable compact housing area and how to design a compact housing area that has complete, comfortable, and affordable facilities. multi-function on narrow urban land. As a conclusion the priority of this concept planning is to design a compact house and environment with efficiency of multi-functional space.
