Abstract

Pada perkembangan dunia saat ini, industri dan sektor pariwisata merupakan salah satu industri terbesar. Pengembangan ini harus juga didukung oleh fasilitas pariwisata, seperti tempat penginapan karena penginapan merupakan salah satu sektor industri yang berkembang dan memiliki prospek tinggi di Indonesia. Salah satunya kota Yogyakarta, yang dikenal sebagai kota wisata karena budaya dan sebagai kota pelajar. Namun, begitu banyak penginapan serupa yang ada di Yogyakarta baik hotel maupun villa sehingga dibutuhkan identitas visual yang berkarakter untuk meningkatkan daya saing industri. Habitat @Hyarta adalah salah satu penginapan di Yogyakarta, yang merupakan inovasi pertama mengkonversi rumah menjadi villa dengan interior bergaya kontemporer sentuhan Yogyakarta. Namun, setelah melakukan wawancara dan studi pustaka dengan pihak Habitat @Hyarta disimpulkan bahwa Habitat @Hyarta tidak memiliki identitas visual yang konsisten serta berkarakteristik, sehingga secara visual dibutuhkan perancangan ulang identitas visual untuk menciptakan identitas visual yang koheren. Penulis melakukan perancangan berbasis data dan juga analisa identitas visual yang mengacu pada teori serta prinsip-prinsip dari identitas visual. / In nowadays world development, tourism industry is one of the largest industries. This development must also be supported by tourism facilities, such as lodging places because lodging is one of the growing industrial sectors and has high prospects in Indonesia. One of them is the city of Yogyakarta, which is known as a tourist city because of its culture and as student city. However, there are so many similar lodges in Yogyakarta, both hotels and villas, so a visual identity with character is needed to increase the competitiveness of the industry. Habitat @Hyarta is one of the lodgings in Yogyakarta, which is the first innovation to convert house into villa with a contemporary style interior and Yogyakarta touch. However, after doing interviews and literature review with Habitat @Hyarta it was concluded that Habitat @Hyarta doesn’t have a consistent and characteristic visual identity, so visually a visual identity redesign is needed to create a coherent visual identity. The design based on data and visual identity analysis which refers to the theory and principles of visual identity.
