Abstract

Masyarakat seringkali melupakan pentingnya hal-hal kecil untuk diapresiasi, salah satunya merupakan kejujuran dalam mengungkapkan perasaan. Pentingnya menyampaikan perasaan dapat tercermin dalam karya sastra puisi seperti buku puisi bertema romansa. Pada karya sastra puisi romansa menarasikan perasaan seseorang dengan penggunaan majas untuk menghasilkan sajak yang indah. Seperti pada buku puisi Love, Spelled in Poetry yang menggambarkan kejujuran dalam perasaan lewat perjalanan cinta seorang wanita secara utuh. Dengan begitu penulis berupaya untuk mengembangkan buku puisi ini dengan visualisasi puisi menjadi buku ilustrasi. Proses pengembangan buku puisi ini menjadi buku ilustrasi dilakukan dengan studi pustaka, observasi, dan wawancara langsung dengan penyair mengenai interpretasi puisi. Dari hasil data yang sudah ada kemudian menjadi dasar untuk proses perancangan. Perancangan buku puisi Love, Spelled in Poetry berpotensi untuk menyampaikan arti dari cinta melewati tiga tahap dan diberi halaman interaktif sehingga lebih menarik dan mudah dimengerti. Kemudian dapat meningkatkan kesadaran mengenai pentingnya hal-hal kecil yang patut untuk diapresiasi seperti kejujuran dalam berperasaan. / People often forget the importance of small things to be appreciated, one of which is honesty in expressing feelings. The importance of conveying the feeling of being able to enjoy in literary works of poetry such as poetry books with the theme of romance. In literary works, romantic poetry narrates one's feelings by using figure of speech to produce beautiful rhymes. As in the book of poetry Love, Spelled in Poetry, which describes honesty in feelings through a woman's journey of love as a whole. Thus the author seeks to develop this poetry book by visualizing poetry into an illustration book. The process of developing this poetry book into an illustration book was carried out by literature study, observation, and direct interviews with poetry regarding poetry interpretation. From the results of existing data then become the basis for the design process. The design of Love's poetry book, Spelled in Poetry, conveys the meaning of love through three stages and is interactive so that it is more interesting and easy. Then it can increase awareness about the importance of small things that deserve to be appreciated such as honesty in feelings.
