Abstract

Melihat industri sinema dan animasi secara luas, kita dapat melihat adanya peningkatan popularitas dari masyarakat yang semakin gemar untuk menonton kedua hal sebagai hiburan. Tetapi seiringnya waktu berjalan, industri sinema dan animasi banyak mengadaptasi buku untuk menjadi film agar tidak membutuhkan biaya pengeluaran yang besar. Juga diperlukan media seperti trailer untuk mempromosikan perilisan film dan mengumpulkan sejumlah audiens yang tertarik dengan film yang dipromosikan. Melihat hal demikian, penulis akan membuat sebuah paduan storyboard trailer untuk buku yang akan diadaptasikan menjadi film. Metode perancangan yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka bersumber dari buku elektronik, jurnal akademik, dan situs web. Lalu, adanya analisis konten dan konteks latar belakang buku. Hasil dari perancangan ini berupa sebuah storyboard trailer dan sedikit perancangan konsep visual film yang diadaptasi dari buku berjudul “Kamu Terlalu Banyak Bercanda”. Kata kunci visual untuk perancangan ini adalah (1) ekspresif dan (2) surealis untuk mengkomunikasikan sebuah perasaan yang telah tersimpan dalam dalam diri seorang karakter. / Looking at the cinema and animation industry in general, we can see an increasing popularity of people who became fond of watching both things for entertainment purposes. But as time goes by, the cinema and animation industry has adapted a lot of books into films so that they don't have to cost a lot of money. It also requires media such as trailers to promote the release of the film and gather a number of audiences who are interested in the film being promoted. Seeing this, the author will make a storyboard trailer blend for the book that will be adapted into a film. The design method used is literature study sourced from electronic books, academic journals, and websites. Then, there is an analysis of the content and context of the background of the book. The results of this design are in the form of a storyboard trailer and a little visual concept design for the film adapted from the book entitled "You're Joking Too Much". The visual keywords for this design are (1) expressive and (2) surreal to communicate a feeling that has been stored in a character.
