Abstract

ASEAN merupakan perhimpunan bangsa-bangsa Asia Tenggara yang merupakan suatu organisasi dan ekonomi dari negara di Kawasan Asia Tenggara. Terdapat sepuluh negara ASEAN yaitu Brunei Darusalam, Indonesia. Malaysia, Filipina, Myanmar, Laos, Kamboja, Vietnam, Thailand, dan Singapura. Kesejahteraan suatu negara dapat dilihat oleh pertumbuhan ekonomi pada negara tersebut. Pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu negara dapat dikatakan berkembang jika pendapatan perkapita cenderung naik. Ada berbagai macam faktor yang dapat meningkatkan pendapatan perkapita tersebut. Faktor-faktor yang digunakan pada penelitian ini antara lain pendidikan, employment, dan unemployment. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui penerapan dari Generalized Linear Model (GLM) dalam membuat menganalisis pengaruh Pendidikan, employment, dan unemployment. Model GLM yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan GLM dengan Gaussian distribution. Penelitian ini akan menghasilkan tujuh belas model yang akan dibagi menjadi dua bagian model besar yaitu model untuk negara gabungan dan model per negara. Dari hasil penelitian ini terdapat beberapa model yang signifikan namun juga masih ada model yang kurang baik. Untuk mengukur seberapa baiknya model dilihat dari nilai AIC dan MSE pada setiap model tersebut. / ASEAN is an association of nation located in the Southeast Asian Region. There are ten ASEAN countries, namely Brunei Darusalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore. In this research, we are going to investigate factors that affect the economic growth in ASEAN countries. It is said that one of the indicators of economic growth in developing countries is the GDP (per capita growth). Factors used in this study include education, employment, and unemployment. This research is conducted using the Generalized Linear Model (GLM) to analyze the influence of education, employment, and unemployment. The GLM model used in this study used GLM with Gaussian distribution. We will build seventeen models that will be divided into two large classes: models for the combined country and the model per country. From the results of this study there are several significant factors that affect the GDP on certain countries. We will evaluate those models using AIC and MSE criterions.
