Abstract

Saat ini, banyak pemilik hewan peliharaan yang memiliki gaya hidup sibuk memilih untuk memiliki pengumpan hewan peliharaan yang cerdas untuk memastikan hewan peliharaan mereka diberi makan tepat waktu. Masalahnya adalah bahwa pengumpan hewan peliharaan pintar saat ini yang tersedia di pasar tidak dapat mengakomodasi orang-orang dengan banyak hewan peliharaan dengan kebutuhan makanan yang berbeda. Oleh karena itu, sistem pengumpan hewan peliharaan pintar ini sangat berguna bagi pemilik hewan peliharaan dimana saja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat prototipe smart pet feeder yang menggunakan RFID untuk membedakan beberapa hewan peliharaan. Sistem smart pet feeder yang disarankan berjalan dengan menggunakan NodeMCU ESP8266 dan Arduino UNO sebagai mikrokontroler, dan menggunakan RFID RC522, load cell HX711, motor servo, dan buzzer sebagai komponennya. Sistem ini juga memiliki situs web untuk mengelola semua data hewan peliharaan. Pengembangan sistem ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan diagram UML dan diagram grafis, yang terdiri dari use case diagram, activity diagram, flowchart, dan block diagram. Secara keseluruhan, sistem smart pet feeder dapat menjalankan semua fungsi dengan baik. Smart pet feeder bisa memberi makanan kepada hewan, bisa memberi peringatan bagi pemilik hewan jika stok makanan sudah sedikit, dan juga fungsi bagi pemilik hewan untuk mengelola data hewan dan mengelola data makanan hewan. Tingkat keberhasilan dari komponen-komponen yang terdapat dalam sistem sudah cukup baik. Masing-masing load cell memiliki hasil yang berbeda-beda, namun tetap dalam rentang 2-3 gram yang masih bisa ditoleransi. Jarak baca RFID reader juga cukup baik dengan jarak baca maksimal 3 cm./Nowadays, many pet owners that have a busy lifestyle choose to have a smart pet feeder to make sure their pets get fed on time. The problem is that the current smart pet feeder that is available on the market couldn’t accommodate people with multiple pets with different dietary needs. Therefore, this smart pet feeder system is very useful for pet owners everywhere. This research is intended to create a prototype of a smart pet feeder that uses RFID to differentiate multiple pets. The smart pet feeder system runs by using NodeMCU ESP8266 and Arduino UNO as microcontrollers, and using RFID RC522, load cell HX711, motor servo, and buzzer as the components. The system also has a website to manage all the pet data. The development of this system is made using UML diagram and graphical diagram, which consists of use case diagram, activity diagram, flowchart, and block diagram. Overall, the smart pet feeder system is able to do all the functions as intended. The smart pet feeder is able to dispense food for the pet, notify the pet owners if the pet food supply is running low, and the system also allows the pet owners to manage the pet data and the pet food data. The success rate of the components that is used in the system is quite good. Each load cell has different results, but still within a 2-3 gram margin that can still be tolerated. The reading distance of the RFID reader is also quite good with a maximum reading distance of 3 cm.
