Abstract
The PT. KLES INDO JAYA is a Korean firm that established in 2016 as a first Korean maintenance power plant premium product in Indonesia. Nowadays, many of the Indonesia power plant station looking for the services of their site product, however, there are no companies offer the maintenance or services correctly. KLES, Inc. has develop their business in Indonesia to serve the needs and share the knowledge to the Indonesian engineers. This report analyze KLES INDO JAYA using competitive analysis tools such as Porter’s Five Forces and SWOT Analysis. The result of the analysis shows that KLES INDO JAYA uses differentiation strategy to emphasize its competitive advantage. KLES INDO JAYA’s higher pricing compared to other firms are justified by its higher efficacy and overall quality. Due to Indonesia’s growing technological environment, better and more effective equipment in the energy industry are needed regardless of the premium price tags. Going forward, KLES INDO JAYA should review its total costs to see which costs can be cut to make prices more affordable for its customers. KLES INDO JAYA should make commitments in assigning qualified engineers in Indonesia as it is one of the problems that can delay projects.
