Abstract

For public figures who are very aware for their image in society, managing impressions through social media is a way to maintain their existence. One of the public figures who maintain this image is the singer Andien Aisyah. Where she often uploads her social media with photographs of her daily activities with a very charming photo composition, with poetic language, which shows that she is sufficient to maintain her impression as a public figure. But since giving birth and became a mother, the content that she uploaded often creates controversy among social media users. This research explores how management of impressions carried out by Andien Aisyah, motivation and the values espoused by her in managing her social media accounts using qualitative approach with content analysis methods especially after she received negative responses from various parties. The results of the study found that the subject manages impressions based on the 3 values previously set: "Sharing, inspiring and giving". These three values are managed together with the help of the digital team. In the course the subject experienced a slight change in her thinking pattern because she had received a negative response when managing impressions, but this did not change the way the subject managed her image and she was even more motivated to continue doing the same thing, because she still saw how many people supported her. / Untuk para figur publik yang sangat menjaga citranya dalam masyarakat, pengelolaan kesan melalui media sosial adalah sebuah cara untuk mempertahankan eksistensi mereka. Salah satu dari publik figur yang cukup menjaga image tersebut adalah penyanyi Andien Aisyah. Dimana ia kerap mengunggah media sosialnya dengan foto-foto kegiatan sehari-harinya dengan komposisi foto yang sangat menawan dan gaya bahasa yang santun serta puitis, yang memperlihatkan bahwa ia cukup menjaga kesannya sebagai seorang public figure. Namun semenjak melahirkan dan menjadi seorang Ibu, konten yang ia unggah kerap mendapatkan pro dan kontra dan menimbulkan kontroversi tersendiri di antara para pengguna media sosial. Penelitian ini menggali bagaimana pengelolaan kesan yang dilakukan oleh Andien Aisyah, motivasi serta nilai yang dianut olehnya dalam mengelola akun media sosialnya dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi terutama setelah ia mendapatkan tanggapan negatif dari berbagai pihak. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa subjek mengelola kesan dengan berdasarkan pada 3 nilai yang ditetapkan sebelumnya : “Berbagi, menginspirasi dan Memberi”. Tiga nilai ini ia kelola bersama dengan bantuan tim digitalnya. Dalam perjalanannya subjek mengalami sedikit perubahan pada pola berpikirnya karena sempat mendapat tanggapan negatif saat mengelola kesan, namun hal tersebut tidak mengubah cara subjek dalam mengelola kesannya dan ia justru semakin termotivasi untuk terus melakukan hal yang sama, karena ia masih melihat bagaimana banyak orang mendukungnya.
