Abstract

Salah satu momen terpenting untuk menjalin hubungan pertemanan adalah masa remaja. Pertemanan pada remaja dapat membantu untuk menjalankan tugas perkembangan pada tahap remaja. Namun dalam menjalin hubungan pertemanan, attachment styles berperan penting dalam menentukan pola menjalin hubungan dengan seseorang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti pengaruh attachment styles terhadap friendship quality pada remaja. Target partisipan penelitian ini adalah 125 remaja berusia 15-19 tahun dengan pendidikan SMA atau sederajat yang berdomisili di Jabodetabek dan menemukan bahwa secure (R2 = .358) dan fearful (R2 = .199) attachment style memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan pada friendship quality namun tidak ditemukan pengaruh yang signifikan dari preoccupied dan dismissing attachment style. / One of the most crucial moments to build friendship is during adolescence. Friendships in adolescence can help teens in performing the developmental task of adolescence. However, in building friendship, attachment styles will be playing a role in determining the pattern of building relationships with someone. This study aims to study the effect of attachment styles on friendship quality in adolescents. Target participants are 125 teenagers ranging from 15-19 years old who are currently in high school or equivalent, living in Jabodetabek and result show a significant effect of secure (R2 = .358), and fearful (R2 = .199) attachment style towards friendship quality, although a significant effect from preoccupied and dismissing attachment style was not found.
