Abstract

Business work systems will continue to develop and make bigger completeness, so technology and information systems should be maximized to follow its development. One example information system that is widely used today is the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system with a growth of 14.8% per year. ERP systems will connect data between modules, store data and manage data in databases so as to facilitate complex business processes. P.T. Union Confectionery is a confectionery industry that has been established since 1955. P.T. Union Confectionery conducts business using DOS-based programs where data between modules still not well integrated and it is making some limitations in managing the data, this system also has limitations in the operating system. Therefore, the analysis and design of new information systems is needed. The information system selected is an ERP system with VB.NET programming language, waterfall development methods, black box testing methods and using MYSQL databases. The result of this research is an ERP system that can integrate data between modules, meet the operational and functional needs of the company and make the system adaptable to its features./ Sistem dan aturan kerja bisnis terus berkembang dan membuat kompleksitas semakin besar, sehingga penggunaan teknologi dan sistem informasi akan lebih maksimal bila mengikuti perkembangannya. Salah satu jenis sistem informasi yang banyak digunakan sekarang adalah sistem Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) dengan pertumbuhan sebesar 14.8% per tahun. ERP akan menghubungkan data antar modul, menyimpan data dan mengelola data dalam database sehingga dapat mempermudah proses bisnis yang kompleks. P.T. Union Confectionery adalah perusahaan industri permen yang telah berdiri sejak 1955. P.T. Union Confectionery menjalankan bisnis menggunakan program berbasis DOS dimana data antar modul tidak dihubungkan secara keseluruhan sehingga membuat beberapa keterbatasan dalam mengelola datanya, sistem ini juga memiliki keterbatasan dalam operating system. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan analisis dan perancangan sistem informasi baru. Sistem informasi yang dipilih adalah ERP dengan bahasa pemrograman VB.Net dengan metode pengembangan waterfall, metode black box testing dan menggunakan database MYSQL. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebuah ERP yang dapat mengintegrasikan data antar modul, memenuhi kebutuhan operasional maupun fungsional perusahaan serta membuat sistem dapat disesuaikan fitur nya.
