Abstract
This research aims to prove empirically the impact of profitability, leverage, liquidity, growth and investment opportunities on dividend policy. Population of this study includes all the manufacturing companies that are listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2017. Purposive sampling method is used with a total sample of 155 firm-years during the period of the observation. In order to analyze the data for the hypothesis purposes, multiple regression method by SPSS is used. The results of this study show that out of the five-independent variable, only Profitability (ROE) and Liquidity (CR) are found to have significant effect on dividend policy. Whereas, Leverage (DER), Growth (GA) and Investment Opportunities (IO) has no significant effect on dividend policy.
