Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan: (1) tingkat kesadaran guru pembimbing khusus terhadap program sensori sirkuit, dan (2) keterampilan adaptasi guru pembimbing khusus menggunakan program sensori sirkuit sebagai model manajemen kelas dalam upaya menghadapi masalah tingkah laku siswa berkebutuhan khusus di sekolah XYZ Kembangan Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan sepuluh indikator, empat belas pertanyaan, dan lima informan dengan pendekatan studi evaluasi. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui wawancara awal dan akhir, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data didapatkan dengan teknik triangulasi, meneliti informan, serta membandingkan teori terkait dan penelitian sebelumnya. Analisis hasil wawancara terhadap sembilan kutipan terkait kesadaran dan dua puluh kutipan terkait keterampilan adaptasi menunjukkan empat dari lima guru pembimbing khusus mengalami peningkatan kesadaran dan keterampilan adaptasi terhadap program sensori sirkuit. Hasil penelitian juga menemukan faktor yang mempengaruhi peningkatan dan penurunan kesadaran dan keterampilan adaptasi guru pembimbing khusus di sekolah XYZ South Kembangan yang meliputi (1) konsistensi praktik langsung, (2) latar belakang kebutuhan siswa, dan (3) kerja tim yang baik antar guru pembimbing khusus./ This research aims to analyze and describe: (1) the level of awareness of the support teachers on the sensory circuit program, and (2) the adaptability of support teachers in using the sensory circuit program as a model of classroom management in an effort to cope with the behavioral problems of special needs students at XYZ School South Kembangan. The research used ten indicators, fourteen questions, and five informants with an evaluation study approach. The validity of the data is obtained using triangulation techniques, informants’ analysis, and comparing relevant theories related and previous research. The analysis of interview results consists of nine related quotations of awareness and twenty related quotations of adaptability showed that four out of five support teachers’ levels of awareness and adaptability to sensory circuit programs are increasing. The result also found factors that influenced the increasing and decreasing level of special guidance teachers’ awareness and adaptability at XYZ School South Kembangan which included (1) consistency of hands-on practice, (2) students’ background needs, and (3) good teamwork between support teachers.
