Abstract

Diabetes melitus (DM) merupakan salah satu jenis gangguan pada sistem metabolisme tubuh yang memiliki ciri utama kenaikan glukosa darah karena gangguan sekresi atau kerja insulin yang kurang efektif. Prevalensi penderita DM usia 15 tahun keatas menurut diagnosis dokter di Provinsi Banten sebesar 2,2%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola pengobatan antidiabetik oral pada pasien penderita DM tipe 2 di instalasi rawat jalan rumah sakit swasta X kota Tangerang pada tahun 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode statistik deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data secara retrospektif, yaitu menggunakan data yang sudah lalu. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa pasien umum lebih dominan (58,55%), penderita DM tipe 2 lebih dominan terjadi pada laki-laki (58%) dengan rentang usia 46-65 tahun (70%). Penderita DM tipe 2 lebih dominan memiliki komorbid (52,15%) dengan komorbid paling banyak yaitu hipertensi (28,77%). Sedangkan terapi antidiabetik oral tunggal yang paling banyak digunakan yaitu metformin (55%) dan antidiabetik oral kombinasi paling dominan yaitu metformin dengan glimepirid (60%)/ Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a type of disorder in the body's metabolic system which has the main characteristic of increasing blood glucose due to impaired insulin secretion or work that is less effective. The prevalence of DM patients aged 15 years and over according to doctor's diagnosis in Banten Province is 2.2%. The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of oral antidiabetic treatment in patients with type 2 DM in the outpatient installation of private hospital X Tangerang city in 2021. The research method used was descriptive statistical method with retrospective data collection, using data that was past. The results showed that general patients were more dominant (58.55%), type 2 DM patients were more dominant in men (58%) with an age range of 46-65 years (70%). Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus have more dominant comorbidities (52.15%) with the most comorbid hypertension (28.77%). While the single oral antidiabetic therapy that was most widely used was metformin (55%) and the most dominant combination oral antidiabetic was metformin with glimepiride (60%)
