Abstract

Latar Belakang: Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi berpengaruh besar dalam bidang pelayanan kesehatan sehingga perawat diharapkan dapat bersikap profesional dan mengikuti perkembangan teknologi dalam melakukan pelayanan keperawatan. Telemedicine merupakan bentuk pelayanan kesehatan jarak jauh oleh profesional kesehatan dengan menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi meliputi pertukaran informasi diagnosis, pengobatan, pencegaha penyakit, penelitian dan evaluasi, dan pendidikan berkelanjutan penyedia layanan kesehatan untuk kepentingan kesehatan individu dan masyarakat yang berkualitas tinggi. Tujuan: Untuk mengidentifikasi gambaran pengetahuan, kepercayaan diri, dan sikap dalam penggunaan telemedicine menurut persepsi perawat di salah satu rumah sakit swasta di Indonesia bagian barat. Metode: Desain penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional dan analisis statistik univariat. Sebanyak 52 sampel didapatkan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner survei Telemedicine Objective Structured Clinical Exam (TeleOSCE) yang telah diterjemahkan kedalam bahasa Indonesia. Hasil: Analisis menunjukkan bahwa 40(76.9%) perawat berpersepsi memiliki pengetahuan penggunaan telemedicine pada tingkat sedang, 32(61,5%) perawat berpersepsi memiliki kepercayaan diri tingkat sedang dalam penggunaan telemedicine, dan 29(55,8%) perawat memiliki persepsi sikap yang netral untuk penggunaan telemedicine. Rekomendasi: Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan untuk meneliti faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi persepsi pengetahuan, kepercayaan diri, dan sikap perawat dalam penggunaan telemedicine. / Background: Informatics and communication technology development nowadays have a significant impact on health services; hopefully, nurses can act professionally and follow these circumstances in giving health services. Telemedicine is one of the health services at a distance by professional healthcare using informatics and communication technology. It involves diagnosis information exchange, medicine, prevention of illness and injury, research and evaluation, and secondary education for healthcare to improve the quality of individual and community health conditions. Aim: To identify the description of knowledge, self�confidence, and attitudes in the use of telemedicine according to the perception of nurses in a private hospital in western Indonesia. Method: The research design used descriptive quantitative with cross-sectional approach and univariate statistical analysis. A total of 52 samples were obtained using purposive sampling technique. The instrument used is the Telemedicine Objective Structured Clinical Exam (TeleOSCE) survey questionnaire which has been translated into Indonesian. Results: The analysis showed that 40 (76,9%) nurses perceived that they had a moderate level of knowledge in using telemedicine, 32 (61,5%) nurses perceived that they had moderate level of self-confidence in using telemedicine, and 29 (55,8%) nurses had a neutral attitude perception in using telemedicine. Recommendation: The next research is expected to examine the factors that influence the perception of knowledge, self-confidence, and attitudes of nurses in the use of telemedicine.
