Abstract

Latar belakang: Perawat merupakan tenaga kesehatan yang paling banyak dibutuhkan di rumah sakit. Umumnya perawat melakukan aktivitas berulang sehingga menyebabkan kelelahan dan nyeri otot yang dapat memengaruhi asuhan keperawatan. Hasil studi awal didapatkan kelelahan yang dialami perawat pada kategori sedang (73,3%) dan bagian tubuh yang paling mengalami nyeri otot adalah bagian pinggang. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kelelahan dan nyeri otot pada perawat di satu Rumah Sakit swasta Indonesia Bagian Barat. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian sejumlah 104 perawat di satu Rumah Sakit swasta Indonesia Bagian Barat dengan sampel 82 responden. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan Februari-Maret 2022 menggunakan kuesioner Swedish Occupational Fatigue Inventory (SOFI) dan Nordic Body Map (NBM) dengan analisis univariat. Nilai cronbach alpha kuesioner SOFI sebesar 0,95 dan NBM sebesar 0,926. Hasil: Penelitian ini menunjukkan tingkat kelelahan yang dialami perawat di satu Rumah Sakit swasta Indonesia Bagian Barat berada dalam kategori sedang (73,2%). Bagian tubuh yang paling banyak dikeluhkan perawat dengan kategori sakit adalah bagian punggung (48,7%), betis kiri (46,3%), betis kanan (42,7%), pinggang (39,1%) dan leher bawah (34,1%). Saran untuk peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat menambahkan analisa variabel yang dapat memengaruhi kelelahan dan nyeri otot pada perawat. / Background: Nurses are the most needed health workers in hospitals. In generally, nurses perform repetitive activities that cause fatigue and muscle pain which can affect nursing care. The results of the initial study showed that the fatigue experienced by nurses was in the moderate category (73.3%) and the body part that experienced the most muscle pain was the waist. Objective: This study aims to describe the fatigue and muscle pain of nurses at a private hospital in Western Indonesia. Methods: This study used a quantitative descriptive design with a cross sectional. The study of population was 104 nurses in a private hospital in Western Indonesia with a sample of 82 respondents. Data collection was carried out on February-March 2022 using the Swedish Occupational Fatigue Inventory (SOFI) and Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaires with univariate analysis. The Cronbach alpha questionnaire was 0.95 and the NBM was 0.926. Result: This study shows that the level of fatigue experienced by nurses in a private hospital in Western Indonesia is in the moderate category (73.2%). The parts of body that most nurses complained about with pain category were the back (48.7%), the left calf (46.3%), the right calf (42.7%), the waist (39.1%) and the lower neck (34,1%). Suggestions for the next researchers are expected to be able to add analysis of variables that can affect fatigue and muscle pain in nurses.
