Abstract

Latar Belakang: Seks bebas merupakan hubungan yang dilakukan oleh laki-laki dan perempuan tanpa ikatan perkawinan. Seks bebas atau kini telah menjadi tren dalam beberapa kelompok. Sebanyak 62,7% remaja di Indonesia telah melakukan seks pranikah. Pergaulan bebas di beberapa kelompok pelajar disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor salah satunya yaitu pengetahuan dan sikap remaja. Tujuan Penelitian: untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan dan sikap remaja mengenai perilaku pencegahan seks bebas di Indonesia Bagian Barat. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif jenis deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja dengan rentang usia 18-21 tahun yang berdomisili di daerah Indonesia Bagian Barat. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel acak, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 96 responden. Instrumen penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengetahui gambaran variabel pengetahuan remaja dan sikap remaja mengenai perilaku pencegahan seks bebas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat. Hasil penelitian: sebanyak 89 responden (92,7%) memiliki pengetahuan baik mengenai perilaku pencegahan seks bebas dan lebih dari setengah responden memiliki sikap negatif mengenai perilaku pencegahan seks bebas yaitu sebanyak 49 responden (51,0%). Rekomendasi: Untuk peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan melakukan penelitian dengan populasi yang lebih besar lagi, tidak hanya di Indonesia Bagian Barat dan dengan topik yang sama tetapi variabel penelitian yang berbeda./ Background: Free sex is a relationship between men and women without marital ties. Free sex or now has become a trend in some groups. As many as 62.7% of teenagers in Indonesia have had premarital sex. Free association in several groups of students is caused by various factors, one of which is the knowledge and attitudes of teenagers. Research Objectives: This study was conducted to describe the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents regarding the behavior of preventing free sex in western Indonesia. Research Methods: This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods. The population in this study were teenagers with an age range of 18-21 years who lived in the western part of Indonesia. The sampling technique used in this study was a random sample, with a sample size of 96 respondents. Research instrument: This study used a questionnaire to determine the description of the variables of adolescent knowledge and attitudes of adolescents regarding free sex prevention behavior. The data analysis technique is used in univariate analysis. The results of the study: as many as 89 respondents (92.7%) had good knowledge about free sex prevention behavior and more than half of the respondents have a negative attitude about free sex prevention behavior, as many as 49 respondents (51.0%). Recommendation: Future researchers are expected to conduct research with a larger population, not only in western Indonesia and with the same topic but different research variables.
