Abstract

Persediaan menjadi hal penting yang harus diperhatikan dalam sebuah perusahaan. Tanpa adanya persediaan, perusahaan akan dihadapkan pada resiko bahwa perusahaannya pada suatu waktu tidak dapat memenuhi keinginan para pelanggannya. Salah satu masalah yang dapat terjadi dalam mengelola persediaan adalah ketika rentang jumlah pasokan bahan baku tersebut menjadi sangat fluktuatif dan tidak terkontrol karena pemesanan hanya didasarkan pada pengalaman semata. Begitu juga dengan waktu kedatangan pasokan yang tidak terencana dengan baik. Melalui penelitian ini, diharapkan akan memberikan solusi bagi PT. XXX yang mengalami permasalahan dalam persediaan perusahaannya sehingga terkadang tidak mampu melayani permintaan dari para pelanggannya. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah PT. XXX sebagai perusahaan pemecah batu yang akan diteliti dengan mengambil obyek penelitian adalah masalah persediaan perusahaan. Data penelitian yang dipergunakan adalah data internal perusahaan berupa jumlah pengiriman permintaan pelanggan selama bulan Desember 2013 sampai dengan Januari 2014 dan akan diselesaikan dengan menggunakan metode persediaan Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Safety Stock dan Re-Order Point (ROP). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dengan economic order quantity disimpulkan bahwa selama ini pemesanan bahan baku yang dilakukan oleh PT. XXX secara umum sangat kurang dengan permintaan aktual dari para pelanggannya. Jumlah pemesanan ekonomis yang harus dipenuhi adalah sebesar 1593,63 ton setiap hari dengan batas stock aman sebesar 1139 ton dan keharusan untuk melakukan pemesanan kembali di saat stock persediaan mencapai 1360 ton / Supply is the fundamental thing that must be considered in a company. Without supply, the company will be presence of the bad risk that the company can’t be able to fulfill the desires of its customers. One of the problems that can occur in managing supply is when the range of the amount of basic materials supply has become fluctuate and uncontrollable because of the orders only based on experience. So, when the arrival time of the basic material has come without a good plan before. Through this research, be expected to provide a good solution and idea for PT.XXX corve through in its supply thing so that makes the comapny are not able to serve the desires o fits customers sometimes. The subject in this research is PT.XXX as a stone crusher company will be examine by taking the object of this research is the problem of the company. The research data that used is the company internal data transmited number of subscribbers during of the month of december 2013 until januari 2014 and will be completed by using the supply method Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Re Order Point (ROP) The resulting conclusion based on the calculations by the economic order quantity during the ordering basic materials by PT.XXX is generally less with actual desires of it’s customers. Total economic order must be fulfilled at 1593.63 tons per day with a safety limit at 1139 tons and also complete the necessity to make the routinely order while the stock supply reach at 1360 tons
