Abstract

Motivasi belajar sangat dibutuhkan oleh setiap siswa untuk menerima pelajaran dengan baik dan mendapatkan prestasi yang baik. Motivasi bisa bertumbuh dengan adanya faktor-faktor dari dalam maupun dari luar diri, misalnya dari faktor pola asuh dan dukungan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh dan dukungan sosial terhadap motivasi belajar. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI di SMA X Banyuwangi dengan jumlah 60 orang. Dari 60 orang tersebut sebanyak 37 orang (61,7%) tinggal dengan orang tua dan sisanya sebanyak 23 orang (38,3%) tinggal di tempat kos. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode statistik, regresi linear sederhana dan regresi linear berganda pada SPSS 21 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh dari pola asuh authoritarian dengan motivasi belajar R2 = 0,074, kemudian terdapat pengaruh dari pola asuh authoritative dengan motivasi belajar R2 = 0,076, terdapat pengaruh dari pola asuh permissive indifferent parenting dengan motivasi belajar dengan R2 sebesar 0,072, ada pengaruh dari pola asuh permissive indulgent parenting dengan nilai R2 sebesar 0,086, selain itu terdapat pengaruh dari dukungan sosial terhadap motivasi belajar dengan R2 sebesar 0,169. Uji hipotesis ketiga menunjukkan ada pengaruh dari pola asuh authoritarian, authoritative, permissive indifferent parenting, permissive indulgent parenting dan dukungan sosial terhadap motivasi belajar siswa (p < 0,05) nilai R2 diperoleh sebesar 0,202 atau pengaruhnya sebesar 20,2% dengan persamaan Y = 2,332 + (-0,313)X1 + 0,135X1 + 0,055 X1 + 0,188X1 + 0,178X2 ± 0,447 dimana Y adalah motivasi belajar dan X1 adalah pola asuh authoritarian, X1 adalah pola asuh authoritative, X1 adalah pola asuh permissive indifferent parenting, X1 adalah pola asuh permissive indulgent parenting dan X2 dukungan sosial Pola asuh dan dukungan sosial berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar, oleh sebab itu peran orang tua, teman sebaya dan guru sangatlah penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar bagi siswa / Motivation to learn is needed by every student so that they can receive the lesson well and also good performance. Motivation can grow in the presence of factors from within and from outside ourselves, for example, of the factors parenting and social support. This research is purposed to know how big the impacts of parenting and social support against motivation to learn. This research is expected to be help students for increase motivation to learn their particular motivation. The subjects were students in grade XI in senior high school X Banyuwangi with the number number of 60 people. Data collected then being analyzed by using statistics method, linear regression and multiple linear regression in SPSS 21 for Windows. The research results showed that students in grade XI in senior high school X Banyuwangi showed revealed an effect from authoritarian parenting with motivation to learn R2 = 0,074, and be found an effect from suthoritative parenting with motivation to learn R2 = 0,076, and then be found an effect from permissive indifferent parenting with motivation R2 = 0,072, and then be found an effect from permissive indulgent parenting with motivation to learn R2 = 0,086, other than be found an effect from social support with motivation to learn R2 = 0,169. The results of this study revealed an effect from parenting and social support on student’s motivation to learn (p < 0,05) R2 value obtained was 0,270 or effects amounting to 27% is the same Y = 2,332 + (- 0,313)X1 + 0,135X2 + 0,055 X3 + 0,188X4 + 0,178X5 ± 0,447 where Y is motivation to learn and X1 is autoritarian parenting, X1 is authoritative parenting, X1 is permissive indifferent parenting, X1 is permissive indulgent parenting and X2 is social support. Parenting style and social support have an effect for learn motivation parents, friends and teacher is very usefull to make learn motivation for students
