Abstract

Perilaku prososial adalah sebuah perilaku yang memiliki intensi untuk mengubah keadaan fisik atau psikologis penerima bantuan dari kurang baik menjadi lebih baik, dalam arti secara material maupun psikologis. Penelitian bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh pola pengasuhan (parenting) dan self esteem terhadap perilaku prososial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan kuesioner diberikan kepada 100 mahasiswa. Metode penelitian kuantitatif dilaksanakan pada sampel sebanyak 100 mahasiswa secara purposive sampling. Kuesioner yang digunakan adalah skala perilaku prososial, pola pengasuhan (parenting), dan self esteem. Data dianalisis dengan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh pola pengasuhan terhadap perilaku prososial menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh sebesar 6,5% dengan nilai R square 0,065. Pengaruh self esteem terhadap variabel perilaku prososial ditunjukkan dari nilai R square 0,216 artinya variabel self esteem memberikan pengaruh sebesar 21,6% terhadap perilaku prososial / Prosocial behavior is a behavior that has the intention to change the physical or psychological state of the recipient of assistance from less good to better, in a material or psychological sense. The research aims to look at the effect of parenting and self esteem patterns on prosocial behavior. The research method used is quantitative using a questionnaire given to 100 students. Quantitative research methods were conducted on a sample of 100 students by purposive sampling. The questionnaire used was a scale of prosocial behavior, parenting patterns, and self esteem. Data were analyzed by multiple regression. The results showed the effect of parenting patterns on prosocial behavior showed an influence of 6.5% with a R square value of 0.065. The influence of self esteem on prosocial behavior variables is shown from the R square value of 0.216 meaning that the self esteem variable gives an effect of 21.6% on prosocial behavior
