Abstract

Kepuasan pernikahan dapat dilihat dari sejauh mana pasangan yang terikat oleh ikatan pernikahan merasa diri bahagia dan puas dalam hubungan yang dijalaninya. Kepuasan pernikahan akan muncul ketika setiap pasangan mulai melakukan evaluasi terhadap kepuasan keadaan pernikahan yang sedang dijalaninya. Setiap pasangan memiliki kepuasan pernikahan yang berbeda-beda terutama pada pasangan yang salah satunya ialah seorang tunanetra. Fokus penelitian kualitatif ini adalah gambaran kepuasan pernikahan sepasang suami istri, yaitu Galih yang adalah seorang tunanetra dan Ratna yang memiliki fisik normal, yang telah menjalani kehidupan pernikahan selama sepuluh tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara semi terstruktur. Paradigma yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah paradigma interpretatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan tingkat kepuasan pernikahan antara Galih yang adalah seorang tunanetra dan Ratna yang memiliki fisik normal. Dari hasil wawancara diperoleh dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa Galih kurang puas dalam pernikahannya bila dibandingkan dengan Ratna. Hal ini dikarenakan Ratna yang tidak selalu menuruti ritme Galih perihal pemenuhan kebutuhan seksualnya akibat keletihan ketika bekerja dan mengurus rumah tangga. Selain itu Galih juga merasa bahwa perbedaan sifat Ratna sebelum menikah yang lugu menjadi tidak mudah percaya setelah menikah membuat Galih kurang puas dalam pernikahannya. Berbeda dengan Galih, Ratna yang mendapati diri Galih yang ulet dan tekun dalam memenuhi kebutuhan finansial maupun seksual, serta perannya sebagai ayah membuat Ratna merasa puas dalam pernikahannya. Konflik-konflik yang dialami oleh Galih dan Ratna berkaitan dengan masalah ketidaksetiaan Galih dan ketidakpercayaan diri Galih yang sempat tidak bekerja berdampak emosional keduanya. Nilai-nilai religiusitas dalam kepercayaan subjek dan toleransi yang membuat Galih dan Ratna bertahan dalam pernikahan mereka, serta mampu melihat sisi positif dari pernikahan mereka. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga diharapkan untuk membantu Galih dan Ratna agar saling lebih memahami dan menjaga serta meningkatkan kepuasan pernikahan yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mengubah paradigma masyarakat terhadap para disabilitas agar tidak dipandang rendah dan diberikan kesempatan untuk menjalani hidup layaknya orang normal / Marital satisfaction can be seen from the extent to which a couple is bound by a marriage bond thus they feels happy and satisfied in the relationship that is undertaken by each married couple. Marital satisfaction will arise when each partner begins to evaluate the satisfaction of the circumstances of the marriage that is being lived. Every couple has different marital satisfaction, especially in couples, one of whom is a blind person. The focus of this qualitative research is a description of the marital satisfaction of a married couple, namely Galih who is a blind person and Ratna who has a normal physique, who has lived a married life for ten years. This study uses a case study design. Methods of data collection using semistructured interviews. The paradigm used in this study is the interpretative paradigm. The results showed that there were differences in the level of marital satisfaction between Galih who was a blind person and Ratna who had a normal physique. From the results of interviews, it can be concluded that Galih was not satisfied in his marriage compared to Ratna. This is because Ratna does not always obey Galih's rhythm about fulfilling her sexual needs due to fatigue when working and managing the household. In addition, Galih also felt that Ratna's difference in innocence before being married was not easy to believe after marriage, making Galih less satisfied in her marriage. Unlike Galih, Ratna, who found herself Galih who was resilient and diligent in fulfilling financial and sexual needs, and her role as father made Ratna feel satisfied in her marriage. The conflicts experienced by Galih and Ratna related to the problem of Galih's disloyalty and Galih's mistrust that had not worked had an emotional impact on both of them. The values of religiosity in subject trust and tolerance that make Galih and Ratna survive in their marriage, and are able to see the positive side of their marriage. in addition, this research is also expected to help Galih and Ratna to be better in understand, maintain and increase the satisfaction of their marriage. This research is expected to be able to change the paradigm of the community towards persons with disabilities so that they are not looked down on and given the opportunity to live their lives like normal people
