Abstract

Kinerja merupakan proses evaluasi seberapa baik karyawan melakukan pekerjaan mereka dengan dibandingkan standar kerja, kemudian mengomunikasikan informasi tersebut kepadan karyawan yang bersangkutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT. X di Gedangan, Sidoarjo. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 100 karyawan yang bekerja di bagian, produksi, IT, accounting, audit, dan engineering. Penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis regresi sederhana dan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 9,1% (p = 0,002). Motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan memiliki pengaruh signifikan sebesar 6,3% (p = 0,013). Gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh secara stimultan sebesar 13,1% (p = 0,001) terhadap kinerja karyawan. Ada faktor lainnya yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan PT. X seperti kompensasi, lingkungan kerja, ketersediaan peralatan kantor dan lain-lain. Atasan diharapkan untuk selalu bekerjasama dengan karyawannya untuk meningkatkan kinerja yang bagus dan karyawan juga diharapkan untuk tetap menjaga hubungan dengan karyawan lain untuk bekerja sama dalam mencapai hasil yang maksimal / Performance is a process of evaluating how well employees do their work compared to work standards, then communicating the information to the employee concerned. This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership style and work motivation on employee performance at PT. X in Gedangan, Sidoarjo. Sampling uses a purposive sampling technique through the distribution of questionnaires to 100 employees working in the department, production, IT, accounting, auditing, and engineering. This study was analyzed using simple regression analysis techniques and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the transformational leadership style significantly influenced employee performance by 9.1% (p = 0.002). Work motivation on employee performance has a significant effect of 6.3% (p = 0.013). Transformational leadership style and work motivation have a stimulant effect of 13.1% (p = 0.001) on employee performance. There are other factors that affect the performance of employees of PT. X such as compensation, work environment, availability of office equipment and others. Superiors are expected to always work closely with their employees to improve good performance and employees are also expected to maintain relationships with other employees to work together in achieving maximum results
