Abstract

Pengalaman hidup yang dilalui setiap orang berbeda-beda, sehingga menjadikan setiap orang memiliki keunikan tersendiri. Tentu semua orang menginginkan kehidupan yang berjalan dengan baik, akan tetapi ada beberapa hal yang terjadi diluar dugaan manusia. Ada orang yang menyerah ketika dihadapkan dengan pengalaman traumatis sedangkan ada yang menerima sebagai batu loncatan untuk hidup yang lebih positif. Pertumbuhan pasca trauma (post traumatic growth) merupakan kemampuan seseorang untuk berjuang dan bertumbuh menjadi lebih positif setelah menghadapi pengalaman traumatis. Pengalaman traumatis ini dialami oleh seorang perempuan berusia 20 tahun yang menjadi korban pemerkosaan. Korban ini mengalami trauma akan tetapi mampu berjuang dan bertumbuh untuk menjalani kehidupan yang lebih positif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Wawancara digunakan sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Data yang dianalisis akan menunjukan gambaran dari post traumatic growth. Dampak positif yang dirasakan oleh korban setelah mengalami post traumatic growth adalah perubahan akan pandangan tentang diri sendiri, memiliki hubungan yang lebih dekat dengan orang lain, dan perubahan akan filosofi hidup. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa korban dari kasus pemerkosaan dapat berjuang dan bertumbuh menjadi seseroang yang lebih positif setelah mengalami pengalaman traumatis. Dengan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi korban pemerkosaan atau orang-orang yang mengalami trauma agar dapat berjuang dan bertumbuh menjadi lebih positif / Every person goes through a different life experience which is meant to help them in finding their own uniqueness. Everyone also expects to live their life well. So that they try to put on many efforts just to make things going right. However it can not be denied that everything in this world can happen out of the human control and it will probably cause a problem.Some people tend to give up in facing a problem especially for those who get into traumatic experience.There are also people who use this way to fight and to grow as a better person.This is called Post traumatic growth which means an individual's ability in growing and changing into a positive person after facing some traumatic experiences.One of the equal cases is experienced by a young girl who was raped in her 20 years old. Instead of being dissolved in her trauma, This young girl is gradually motivated to figure out herself for the better life.This research uses a qualitative approach and the case study method. Interviews are used as a data collection method.The analyzed data will show the representasion of PTG.The positive impact felt by the victim after experiencing PTG is a change in her views about herself and the other person around her, also there is a change in her life's philosophy.This research is expected to provide benefits to other rape victims or people who have experienced trauma in their life
