Abstract

Keberadaan aplikasi menjadi salah satu kesempatan bagi restoran untuk memperluas cakupan customer dan meningkatkan kemudahan akses kepada layanan mereka. Menurut survei Inmobi, terjadi peningkatan penggunaan aplikasi untuk memesan makanan, termasuk menggunakan aplikasi restoran (InMobi n.d.). Banyak restoran sudah memiliki aplikasi mereka sendiri. Namun tidak sedikit juga restoran belum memiliki aplikasi sendiri. Mungkin restoran ini menggunakan aplikasi delivery seperti UberEats dan GrubHub. Menurut New York Times, justru menggunakan aplikasi pemesanan ini merugikan pihak restoran tersebut dan restoran memilih alternatif seperti website untuk melakukan pemesanan online mereka sendiri (Ovide 2021). Penelitian ini mencoba untuk mengembangkan aplikasi yang memungkinkan pemilik restoran untuk membuat aplikasi mereka sendiri. Aplikasi ini diberi nama Appmaker. Appmaker adalah sebuah Restaurant Content Management mobile application yang berfungsi untuk membuat mobile application bagi restoran. Dengan membangun aplikasi ini yang didukung oleh Graphical User Interface (GUI), maka keperluan untuk membuat sebuah aplikasi bagi sebuah perusahaan dapat dipenuhi oleh lebih banyak orang. Oleh sebab itu, diharapkan akan lebih banyak restoran yang dapat memiliki aplikasi sehingga daya saing restoran tersebut dapat meningkat. Setelah dilakukan pengujian, aplikasi Restaurant Content Management berbasis Android, Appmaker, berjalan dengan baik dan telah berhasil dibuat dengan menerapkan fitur GUI yang mendukung CMS dengan menggunakan Flutter SDK, yang meliputi fitur Drag and Drop untuk penempatan konten, perubahan detail konten secara visual, dan pembangunan aplikasi dari desain. Fitur-fitur ini sudah melewati pengujian black-box yang telah dilakukan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pengguna yang dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner, 100% responden menjawab aplikasi CMS dapat membantu dalam bisnis restoran, 100% menjawab aplikasi mudah dipelajari, dan 100% responden menjawab aplikasi Appmaker mudah digunakan. / Having an application is an opportunity for restaurants to expand their customer reach and increase the ease of access to their services. According to a survey by Inmobi, there is an increase in the use of applications to order food, including using restaurant applications (InMobi n.d.). Many restaurants already have their own apps. But quite a few restaurants don’t have their own application yet. Perhaps this restaurant uses delivery apps such as UberEats and GrubHub. According to the New York Times, using this ordering app is actually detrimental to the restaurant so that they use websites to make their own online orders as an alternative (Ovide 2021). This research is attempting to develop an application to allow restaurant owners to make their own mobile application. This application is called Appmaker. Appmaker is a Restaurant Content Management mobile application that serves to create mobile applications for restaurants. By building this application that is supported by Graphical User Interface (GUI) elements, the need to create an application for a company can be fulfilled by a wider variety of people. Therefore, it is expected that more restaurants can have applications so that these restaurants do not lack an option to create their own competitive edge. Based on test results, the Android-based Restaurant Content Management application, Appmaker, runs well and has been successfully created by implementing a GUI feature that supports CMS using the Flutter SDK, which includes the Drag and Drop feature for content placement, changes to visual content details, and development. application of design. The mentioned features and others passed the black-box testing. Based on the results of user evaluations conducted by distributing questionnaires, 100% of respondents answered that the CMS application can help in the restaurant business, 100% answered that the application was easy to learn, and 100% of respondents answered that Appmaker was easy to use.
