Abstract
Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) merupakan keterampilan yang relevan dengan keterampilan 4C di abad ke-21 ini. Akan tetapi data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kurang mampu memahami dan menerapkan konsep, menafsirkan, serta mengkomunikasikannya (Keterampilan Proses Sains). Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan KPS siswa melalui penerapan kegiatan praktikum. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menerapkan metode kualitatif-deskriptif menggunakan data yang diperoleh dari portofolio pada PPL 2. Kegiatan praktikum diterapkan dalam tiga tahapan, diantaranya yaitu pra-praktikum, praktikum inti, dan pasca praktikum. Melalui kegiatan praktikum ini, siswa mampu meningkatkan keterampilan penerapan konsep, menafsirkan, dan mengkomunikasikannya. Penguasaan KPS merupakan bentuk dari pertanggungjawaban manusia atas mandat yang telah Allah kepada umat manusia berikan untuk mengelola bumi. Sikap individualisme dan subjektivisme yang timbul saat pembelajaran daring tidak diharapkan pada kegiatan praktikum sebagai sarana peningkatan KPS. Hal tersebut karena pembelajaran sains yang seharusnya dipandang objektif justru malah dibangun atas dasar perspektif interpretasi diri pribadi. Keseluruhan penjabaran ini menuntun kepada kesimpulan bahwa kegiatan praktikum dapat menjadi sarana peningkatan KPS siswa. Saran yang dapat diberikan kepada penulis berikutnya adalah supaya deskripsi dan penjabaran terkait pelaksanaan kegiatan praktikum dapat diberikan secara lebih detail dan lengkap./Science Process Skills (SPS) are skills that are relevant to the 4C skills in the 21st century. However, research data shows that students are less able to understand and apply concepts, interpret, and communication (Science Process Skills). This paper aims to improve students' SPS through the implementation of experiment activities. This research was conducted by applying a qualitative-descriptive method using data obtained from the portfolio in PPL 2. The experiment activities were implemented in three stages, including pre-practicum, core practicum, and post practicum. Through this practical activity, students can improve their skills in applying concepts, interpreting, and communicating them. Mastery of SPS is a form of human responsibility for the mandate that God has given mankind to manage the earth. Individualism and subjectivism that arise during online learning are not expected in practical activities as a means of improving SPS. This is because science learning, which should be viewed as objective, is built based on a personal self-interpretation perspective. This whole description leads to the conclusion that practical activities can be a means of improving students' SPS. Suggestions that can be given to the next author is that descriptions and elaborations related to the implementation of practicum activities can be given in more detail and complete.
