Abstract

Kepemimpinan transformasional dikatakan sebagai predictor yang mempunyai arti sangat penting dalam pencapaian kinerja secara organisasi maupun secara individual dalam hubungannya dengan peningkatkan prestasi kerja karyawan. Kepemimpinan ini dapat mengimbangi era perubahan dalam organisasi yang masih dalam proses pertumbuhan yang pesat. Dikatakan juga bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional memaksimalkan upaya pemberdayaan dan secara positif akan meningkatkan motivasi karyawan untuk berprestasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja kontekstual melalui pemberdayaan karyawan dan motivasi berprestasi di Siloam Hospitals Surabaya. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan menggunakan kuesioner untuk keempat variabelnya. Keempat variabel tersebut di analisis dengan menggunakan uji Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan program AMOS versi 20.0. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa ada hubungan postif antara kepemimpinan transformasional dengan kinerja kontekstual, dan lebih diperkuat lagi ketika melalui pemberdayaan karyawan dan motivasi berprestasi. Implikasi dari penelitian ini dibahas melalui pola data yang dihasilkan oleh masingmasing variabel kepemimpinan transformasional, kinerja kontekstual, pemberdayaan karyawan dan motivasi berprestasi / Tranformational leadership is a predictor which has a very important role in individual or organizational performance achievement in relation to enhance individual employee performance. This leadership can compensate in transition era within a growing organization. Tranformational leadership maximizes empowerment effort and motivate employee to excel positevely. This study was conducted to see the effect of transformational leadership toward contexual performance through employee empowerment and achievement motivation in Siloam Hospitals Surabaya. This research is a quantitative study by using questionnaires for its four variables.The Four variables were analized using Structural Equation Modeling test ( SEM ) AMOS program version 20.0 . The results of this study revealed that there is a positive relationship between transformational leadership with contextual performance , and strengthened through employee empowerment and achievement motivation . The implications of this study are discussed through the data pattern generated by each variable, which are transformational leadership , contextual performance , employee empowerment and achievement motivation
