Abstract

Keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran adalah hal yang penting karena siswa yang menjadi subjek belajar dan yang mengalami proses pertumbuhan secara holistis. Guru sebagai fasilitator memiliki peranan penting dalam merancang pembelajaran untuk memfasilitasi keaktifan siswa ini. Namun, pada kenyataannya ditemukan siswa taman kanak-kanak kurang aktif dalam kelas. Hal ini karena kebutuhan akan karakteristik siswa belum terfasilitasi dengan baik melalui metode yang tepat. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penulisan makalah ini yaitu memaparkan metode belajar melalui bermain untuk memfasilitasi keaktifan siswa taman kanak-kanak dengan metodologi penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Disimpulkan bahwa metode belajar melalui bermain ini mampu memfasilitasi keaktifan siswa karena mampu menarik perhatian, meningkatkan konsentrasi, melibatkan siswa yang kurang aktif dan mengembangkan siswa secara holistis. Guru hendaknya meneladani Yesus dalam pengajaranNya, mengenal setiap murid sehingga bisa memberikan metode yang tepat. Peran guru sebagai fasilitator harus merancang pembelajaran yang memungkinkan siswa untuk bertumbuh secara kognitif, afektif, psikomotor dan semakin serupa Kristus serta menjadi berkat bagi masyarakat. Saran bagi para guru adalah hendaknya mengenal siswa terlebih dulu untuk mengambil tindakan lanjutan serta disarankan menggunakan metode belajar melalui bermain untuk memfasilitasi keaktifan siswa. Bagi sekolah, hendaknya memberikan pelatihan kepada guru tentang metode ini. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya, hendaknya menggunakan metode yang lain untuk memfasilitasi keaktifan siswa./ The activeness of students in the learning process is important because students are the subject of learning and who experience a holistic growth process. The teacher as a facilitator has an important role in designing learning to facilitate student activity. However, in reality it was found that kindergarten students were less active in class. This is because the need for student characteristics has not been properly facilitated through the right method. Therefore, the purpose of writing this paper is to describe the method of learning through play to facilitate the activities of kindergarten students with a descriptive qualitative research methodology. It was concluded that the method of learning through play was able to facilitate student activity because it was able to attract attention, increase concentration, involve students who were less active and develop students holistically. Teachers should imitate Jesus in His teaching, get to know each student so that they can give the right method. The teacher's role as a facilitator must design learning that allows students to grow cognitively, affectively, psychomotor and become more like Christ and become a blessing to society. Suggestions for teachers are to get to know students first to take further action and it is advisable to use the learning method through play to facilitate student activity. For schools, should provide training to teachers on this method. For further researchers, they should use other methods to facilitate student activity.
