Abstract

ABSTRAK Defraearly Haezer Maesa Londa (01121180091) HUBUNGAN ANTARA KECEMASAN SOSIAL DENGAN ADIKSI INTERNET MAHASISWA DI MANADO (vii+ 22 Halaman: 0 gambar; ) Kecemasan sosial bukanlah hal yang tidak asing lagi di dengar apalagi di kalangan masyarakat Begitu juga dengan adiksi internet. Dimana istilah ini sudah mulai di dengar dan diketahui di era modern saat ini. Studi kuantitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara kecemasan sosial dengan adiksi internet. Alat ukur Social Interaction Anxiety Scale (SIAS) dan Internet Addiction Test (IAD) digunakan untuk mengukur kecemasan sosial dan adiksi internet dari 68 mahasiswa aktif yang berkuliah di Manado. Hasil studi mengkonfirmasi bahwa terdapat korelasi positif antara kecemasan sosial dengan adiksi internet r=.283. Kata kunci: kecemasan sosial, adiksi internet, mahasiswa Referensi: 34 (1995-2021) Social anxiety is something that is not foreign to hear especially in the society as well as internet addiction. Where this term began to be heard in this modern era. This quantitative study aims to explore the correlation between social anxiety and internet addiction. Social Interaction Anxiety Scale (SIAS) and Internet Addiction Test (IAD) are employed to measure the social anxiety and internet addiction of 68 college students in Manado. The result of this study confirm there is a positive correlation between social anxiety and internet addiction r=.283.
