Abstract

Kata Kunci: klinikopatologi, ekspresi PD L-1, karsinoma paru, kpbsk / Background: Non-Small Cell Lung Carcinoma or abbreviated as Non-Small Cell Lung Carcinoma (NSCLC) is the leading cause of death related to malignancy, especially in Asia. NSCLC is caused by smoking as the main risk factor and age, sex and genetics as other risk factors. The collection of these risk factors is a clinicopathological aspect of the expression of Programmed Death Ligand-1 (PD L-1) in patients with NSCLC. According to Xirong Fan, dkk. only the histological aspect and cancer stage in the patient had the most influence on the positive PD-L1 expression. Thus, this study was conducted to examine the relationship of other clinicopathological aspects that affect the expression of PD-L1. Research Objectives: This study aimed to examine the relationship between clinicopathological aspects and PD L-1 expression in patients with NSCLC. Methods: This study was conducted with a cross-sectional study. The data taken is secondary data from MRCCC Siloam Hospital through purposive sampling method. Data have been collected and analyzed using SPSS 25.0. Results: Positive PDL-1 expression was seen in 42.2% of all 97 medical record data taken. The majority of the data are male (62.8%) with an age range of 34-83 years. The most tumor subtype from the data was adenocarcinoma (77.3%) originating from the right lung (56.8%). Conclusion: From the results of data analysis and research findings, it can be concluded that the clinicopathological aspects of age, gender, tumor location and cancer subtype are not associated with PDL-1 expression in non-small cell lung carcinoma. Keyword: lung carcinoma, nsclc, clinicopathology, PD L-1 expression
