Abstract

HUBUNGAN DISMENORE DENGAN KONSENTRASI BELAJAR PADA MAHASISWI PRAKLINIK FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN UNIVERSITAS PELITA HARAPAN (LXIII + 63 halaman: 9 tabel; 4 lampiran; 3 gambar). LATAR BELAKANG: Menstruasi adalah bagian dari proses tubuh perempuan dalam mempersiapkan kehamilan dan berlangsung setiap bulan. Menstruasi biasanya disertai dengan rasa nyeri yang disebut dismenore. Dismenore adalah nyeri perut yang diakibatkan karena kram rahim dan terjadi selama menstruasi. Mahasiswi yang sedang mengalami dismenore dan mengikuti proses pembelajaran, menyebabkan kegiatan pembelajaran menjadi terganggu. Berdasarkan penelitian Kumar (2021), sebesar 57,7% siswi dengan dismenore mengalami gangguan konsentrasi selama jam pelajaran. Data lain menunjukkan, remaja yang mengalami gangguan dismenore berat mendapat nilai yang rendah (6,5%), absen dari sekolah (80,6%), dan menurunnya konsentrasi (87,1%). Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dismenore dengan konsentrasi belajar pada mahasiswi praklinik FK UPH. TUJUAN PENELITIAN: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dismenore dan konsentrasi belajar pada populasi mahasiswi praklinik FK UPH. METODE PENELITIAN: Penelitian dilakukan dengan studi analitik komparatif tidak berpasangan, dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan pengisian kuesioner online secara mandiri oleh subjek penelitian. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswi praklinik FK UPH sebanyak 98 orang. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik Chi Square dan analisis regresi logistik. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan analisis regresi logistik multinomial, regresi logistik biner, dan regresi logistik ordinal untuk menganalisis variabel covariate. ANALISIS DAN HASIL: Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan antara dismenore dengan konsentrasi belajar pada populasi mahasiswi praklinik UPH (p-value 0.000157). Selanjutnya, dilakukan analisis regresi logistik multinomial, biner, dan ordinal untuk mengetahui nilai odd ratio dari masing-masing variabel terhadap kejadian konsentrasi belajar. Berdasarkan analisis regresi logistik multinomial, didapatkan nilai odd ratio konsentrasi belajar rendah paling tinggi terjadi pada dismenore ringan yaitu 9,600. Pada analisis regresi logistik biner, didapatkan nilai odd ratio konsentrasi belajar kurang baik paling tinggi terjadi pada dismenore berat dengan nilai 1,533. Sedangkan nilai odd ratio tertinggi untuk konsentrasi belajar tinggi pada analisis regresi logistik ordinal terjadi pada tidak dismenore dengan nilai 2,5 / THE RELATIONSHIP OF DYSMENORRHEA AND STUDY CONCENTRATION IN PRECLINICAL STUDENTS FACULTY OF MEDICINE PELITA HARAPAN UNIVERSITY (LXIII + 63 pages: 9 tables; 4 attachments; 3 images) BACKGROUND: Menstruation is part of a woman's body process in preparing for pregnancy and takes place every month. Menstruation is usually accompanied by pain called dysmenorrhea. Dysmenorrhea is abdominal pain caused by uterine cramps and occurs during menstruation. Students who are experiencing dysmenorrhea and follow the learning process, causing learning activities to be disrupted. Based on the research of Kumar (2021), 57.7% of students with dysmenorrhea experienced concentration problems during class hours. Other data showed that adolescents with severe dysmenorrhea had low scores (6.5%), absent from school (80.6%), and decreased concentration (87.1%). Therefore, further research is needed to determine the relationship between dysmenorrhea and study concentration in UPH Medical Faculty preclinical students. AIM: This study aims to determine the relationship between dysmenorrhea and study concentration in the preclinical student population of UPH FK. METHODS: The research conducted with unpaired comparative analytic study, using a cross-sectional approach. Data collection carried out by filling out online questionnaires independently by research subjects. The research sample is UPH FK preclinical students as many as 98 people. Data analysis using Chi Square statistical test and logistic regression analysis. Then proceed with multinomial logistic regression analysis, binary logistic regression, and ordinal logistic regression to analyze the covariate variables. ANALYSIS AND RESULT: Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that there is relationship between dysmenorrhea and learning concentration in the UPH preclinical student population (p-value 0.000157). Furthermore, multinomial, binary, and ordinal logistic regression analysis was performed to determine the odd value of each variable on the incidence of learning concentration. Based on multinomial logistic regression analysis, the lowest learning concentration odd ratio value that occurred in mild dysmenorrhea was 9,600. In binary logistic regression analysis, the odd ratio value of poor learning concentration that occurred in severe dysmenorrhea was obtained with a value of 1.533. Meanwhile, the highest odd ratio value for high learning concentration in the ordinal logistic regression analysis that occurred in did not dtsmenorrhea with value 2.5.
