Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic, which is now covering the homeland as well as the world, has of course made all the activities of people’s lives no longer run as usual. The current pandemic situation will not take place quickly to return to normal and carry out activities from various aspects, especially in carrying out educational learning activities which inlove students and education staff. Closing schools and conducting learning from home can lead to various problems in the learning system at the Jayapura Disctrict Education Office. One of them is the difficulty of online learning and the lack motivation and enthusiasm in learning because some of the students in Jayapura Regenecy are helping parents in the garden to plan sagu. The purpose of this study is to (1) Describe the general description of the learning system in public and private elementary schools in Jayapura Regency. (2) knowing the management of Basic Education carried out by the Jayapura Regency Education Office during the pandemic. (3) knowing the spirit of learning in every elementary schools in Jayapura Regency and elementary schools that conducts online and face to face learning. (4) knowing how to manage basic education in Jayapura Regency in the future.
