Abstract

Latar Belakang : Meningkatnya jumlah pasien gagal ginjal kronik (GGK) menjadi perhatian khusus karena merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan di dunia. Berdasarakan penelitian Global Burden of Disease tahun 2015 penyakit gagal ginjal kronis merupakan penyebab kematian peringkat ke-12 pada tahun 2015. Pentingnya melakukan pencegahan dini terhadap penyakit ginjal dengan cara mengenali faktor- faktor risikonya. Faktor risiko penyakit ginjal tertinggi adalah orang- orang yang menderita menderita hipertensi dan diabetes. Oleh karena itu, pencegahan gangguan fungsi ginjal dapat dicegah secara dini dengan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat. Sehingga, perlu dilakukan penelitian deskriptif tentang gambaran perilaku keluarga pasien hemodialisis mengenai gagal ginjal kronik. Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap keluarga pasien hemodialisis mengenai gagal ginjal kronik di RSUD Dok II Jayapura Metodologi : Penelitian ini berupa studi deskriptif yang dilakukan pada keluarga dari pasien hemodialisis di RSUD Dok II jayapura. Pengumpulan data dilakukan Maret hingga Mei 2022. Pengetahuan dan sikap keluarga pasien hemodialisis diukur dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil : Tingkat pengetahuan keluarga pasien hemodialysis mengenai gagal ginjal kronik dalam kategori baik (84,6%). Sikap keluarga pasien hemodialysis mengenai gagal ginjal kronik dalam kategori baik (93,8%). Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan, Sikap, Keluarga, GGK. / Background: The increasing number of patients with chronic kidney failure (CKD) is of particular concern because it is a health problem in the world. Based on the 2015 Global Burden of Disease study, chronic kidney disease was the 12th leading cause of death in 2015. The importance of early prevention of kidney disease by identifying its risk factors. The highest risk factors for kidney disease are people who suffer from hypertension and diabetes. Therefore, prevention of impaired kidney function can be prevented early by increasing public awareness. Thus, it is necessary to conduct descriptive research on the description of the behavior of families of hemodialysis patients regarding chronic kidney failure. Aim: To determine the level of knowledge and family attitudes of hemodialysis patients regarding chronic renal failure at RSUD Dok II Jayapura. Methodology: This research is a descriptive study conducted on the families of hemodialysis patients at Dok II Hospital in Jayapura. Data collection was carried out from March to May 2022. Knowledge and family attitudes of hemodialysis patients were measured using a questionnaire. Results: The level of knowledge of hemodialysis patients' families regarding chronic kidney failure is in the good category (84.6%). The family attitude of hemodialysis patients regarding chronic kidney failure is in the good category (93.8%). Keywords: Knowledge, Attitude, Family, CKD.
