Abstract

Moral penting untuk diajarkan kepada anak sejak dini. Bagi umat Kristiani, cerita dalam Alkitab digunakan menjadi dasar hidup bermoral. Salah satu cara untuk menyampaikan cerita Alkitab kepada anak yaitu dengan menggunakan ilustrasi. Seperti yang digunakan pada perancangan proyek akhir ini, yaitu atau picture book atau buku bergambar. Projek ini merancang ulang buku seri Cerita Tuhan Yesus: Dua Anak Laki- Laki. Buku ini memiliki konten yang sederhana dan mudah dipahami oleh anak usia 5-6 tahun. Buku bergambar ini menggunakan kata kunci playful, friendly, dan clear. Ketiga kata kunci ini diterapkan pada elemen visual, seperti tipografi, ilustrasi, warna, dan sebagainya untuk menarik dan menyampaikan konten yang mudah dimengerti oleh anak. Tujuan dari perancangan ini adalah menarik anak usia 5-6 membaca buku seri Cerita Tuhan Yesus: Dua Anak Laki-Laki untuk mengenalkan pendidikan moral melalui cerita Alkitab. / Morals are important to be known by children. For Christians, Bible stories are used for the basic principle of moral life. Picture book can be an option to tell the bible stories for kids. This project is to design a picture book from “Cerita Tuhan Yesus: Dua Anak Laki-Laki”. The content of this book is easy to understand for children aged 5-6 years. The keywords from this picture book are playful, friendly, and clear. These three keywords are applied to visual elements, for example typography, illustrations, colors, etc. to make this book interesting and deliver content that is easy for children to understand. The purpose of this design is to attract children to read the series of “Cerita Tuhan Yesus: Dua Anak Laki-Laki” to educated with morals from Bible stories.
