Abstract

Panti asuhan Eben Haezer merupakan salah satu lembaga yang terkena dampak negatif dari adanya pandemi Covid-19, yaitu masalah sosial-ekonomi. Pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini, penulis berusaha mencari solusi-solusi dari permasalahan yang dihadapi Eben Haezer menggunakan kacamata desain. Penulis membantu untuk mengembangkan media informasi dari panti asuhan Eben Haezer untuk meningkatkan brand awareness mereka. Penulis menggunakan metodologi Double Diamond, dengan pendekatan desain partisipatoris sehingga dalam prosesnya melibatkan stakeholder yang berpengalaman dan/atau terjun langsung dalam permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh panti asuhan Eben Haezer. Tujuan dari analisis ini adalah memudahkan penulis dalam menemukan solusi desain yang akan dilakukan dalam perancangan desain untuk media informasi yang digunakan panti asuhan Eben Haezer. Demikian pula tujuan dari perancangan desain untuk media informasi yang digunakan panti asuhan Eben Haezer adalah untuk menarik perhatian donatur baru agar tertarik untuk mengunjungi media informasi yang digunakan Eben Haezer, membuat visual yang digunakan menjadi lebih konsisten, dan juga membuat visual dari media informasi Eben Haezer menjadi lebih terpercaya. / Eben Haezer Orphanage is one of the institution that affected by the negative impact of Covid-19 pandemic, that is socio-economic problem. In this community service, the author attempts to look for the solutions from the problem that encountered by Eben Haezer using design perspective. The Author assists to develop the information media from Eben Haezer to increase their brand awareness. The author applies Double Diamond methodology, with participatory design approach so that in this process involves experienced stakeholder and/ or goes directly in the problems that faced by Eben Haezer orphanage. The purpose of this analysis is to make the author easier in finding the design solution that will be done in design planning for information media that used by Eben Haezer orphanage. Likewise the purpose of the design planning for information media that used by Eben Haezer orphanage are to attract the attention of new donor so that they will be interested to visit the information media that used by Eben Haezer, makes the visuals that used become more consistent, and so makes the visual of Eben Haezer’s information media more reliable.
