Abstract

Stroke merupakan penyakit kritis dengan tingkat penyebab kecacatan serta tingkat kematian yang tinggi. Maka dari itu diperlukan asuransi penyakit stroke untuk membantu meringankan beban bagi para penderita penyakit ini. Pada umumnya, untuk menetapkan harga asuransi penyakit kritis diperlukan data medis yang lengkap seperti data rincian orang yang terkena penyakit stroke dan orang yang meninggal akibat penyakit stroke. Namun pada kenyataannya data medis yang tersedia belum tentu memuat semua informasi yang dibutuhkan. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian ini dilakukan pemodelan intensitas mortalitas, perhitungan probabilitas transisi, dan penetapan harga asuransi serta cadangan asuransi penyakit stroke dari tingkat prevalensi. Produk asuransi yang dibentuk dalam penelitian ini adalah asuransi berjangka dengan batas pertanggungan hingga 74 tahun dan manfaat dibayarkan dalam bentuk lump sum ketika terkena penyakit stroke atau meninggal. Mortalitas dalam penelitian ini dimodelkan dengan menggunakan model Gompertz dan Weibull karena kedua model ini merupakan model yang sering digunakan dalam dunia aktuaria dan statistika. Pemodelan intensitas mortalitas dilakukan dengan dua model yang berbeda dengan tujuan untuk membandingkan tingkat akurasi yang dihasilkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Gompertz adalah model yang dapat mendeskripsikan kematian dari keadaan sehat dan sakit dengan lebih baik dibandingkan model Weibull. Premi bersih tunggal dan cadangan asuransi yang dihasilkan oleh model Gompertz menghasilkan nilai yang lebih besar dibandingkan model Weibull. / Stroke is a critical disease with a high rate of disability and death. Therefore, stroke insurance is needed to help ease the burden for sufferers of this disease. In general, pricing critical illness insurance requires specific and detailed insurance data on healthy and ill lives, such as detailed data on people who had stroke and people who have died from stroke. However, in reality the available medical data does not necessarily contain all the required information. Therefore, in this study, mortality intensity modeling, transition probability, pricing stroke insurance and reserve calculations from prevalence rates were carried out. The insurance product designed is term-insurance with coverage up to 74 years and which consist of lump sum benefit that are being paid when suffering from a stroke or at the time of death. Mortality in this study was modeled using the Gompertz and Weibull models because these two models are are often used in actuaries and statistics. Mortality intensity is modeled by two different models with the aim of comparing the level of accuracy produced. The result shows that Gompertz model is the better descriptor of mortality, of both healthy and sick lives, than the Weibull model. Net single premi and reserve that calculated using Gompertz model yield bigger value compare to Weibull model.
