Abstract

Digital literacy plays an important role for students in obtaining information, gaining knowledge, and understanding the message’s content. It can be used for various purposes in learning. This study aims to find out and describe the results of the digital literacy index of students at SMKN 3 Sukabumi who have applied digitalized learning. This type of research is quantitative with univariate analysis or using one variable. The research instruments are functional skills and beyond, creativity, collaboration, communication, the ability to find and select information, critical thinking and evaluation, cultural and social understanding, and e-safety. Ninety-three respondents were students of SMKN 3 Sukabumi who took part in filling out a questionnaire to measure their digital literacy index. The data obtained is then processed and analyzed using the calculation of mean values in Microsoft Excel, resulting in a score of 77.29%, which indicates the ADVANCE category. The researcher concluded that the results of the student digital literacy index at SMKN 3 Sukabumi were high. Therefore, the results of the study confirm that students can understand digital literacy in their learning. Researchers hope that SMKN 3 Sukabumi students will be more effective in digital literacy as a learning need and learning motivation, and the school provides adequate learning facilities such as internet access and the use of digitalization for the continuity of effective learning. The researcher also suggested that the research results be used as a reference and become a reference for future researchers, especially in the study of students' digital literacy. / Literasi digital berperan penting untuk siswa dalam mendapatkan suatu informasi, pengetahuan serta memahami isi dari pesan yang dibaca dan dapat dimanfaatkan untuk berbagai kepentingan dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan hasil indeks literasi digital siswa di SMKN 3 Sukabumi yang telah menerapkan pembelajaran secara digitalisasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan univariate analysis atau menggunakan satu variabel. Adapun instrumen penelitiannya adalah functional skill and beyond, creativity, collaboration, communication, the ability to find and select information, critical thinking and evaluation, cultural and social understanding, dan e-safety. Sembilan puluh tiga responden merupakan siswa SMKN 3 Sukabumi yang turut andil mengisi kuesioner untuk mengukur indeks literasi digital mereka. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan perhitungan nilai mean di Microsoft Excel dengan skor 77,29% yang menunjukkan kategori ADVANCE. Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa hasil indeks literasi digital siswa di SMKN 3 Sukabumi tinggi. Oleh karena itu, hasil penelitian mengonfirmasi bahwa siswa dapat memahami literasi digital dalam pembelajarannya. Peneliti berharap siswa SMKN 3 Sukabumi lebih efektif dalam berliterasi digital sebagai keperluan pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar serta pihak sekolah memberikan fasilitas belajar yang memadai seperti akses internet dan penggunaan digitalisasi untuk keberlangsungan pembelajaran yang efektif. Peneliti juga menyarankan agar hasil penelitian dijadikan referensi dan menjadi acuan untuk penelitian selanjutnya, khususnya pada kajian literasi digital siswa.
