Abstract

Restoran merupakan tempat umum yang menjual makanan siap saji untuk dikonsumsi. Manusia mencari produk dan jasa yang tidak hanya memenuhi kebutuhan tetapi juga memuaskan keinginan sehingga membuat penyedia jasa makanan dan minuman menawarkan keragaman pengalaman makan yang lebih luas seperti casual restaurant. Masakan Tiongkok sudah terakulturasi dengan masakan Indonesia, selain itu masyarakat Indonesia memiliki kegemaran yang sama dengan masyarakat Tiongkok dalam hal mengonsumsi nasi. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya peluang untuk membuka usaha restoran claypot rice disertai dengan jumlah restoran claypot rice yang masih sedikit di daerah DKI Jakarta. Berdasarkan beberapa pertimbangan diatas, penulis membuat studi kelayakan bisnis restoran khas Tiongkok bernama Hoi Sam Claypot Rice di daerah Jakarta Timur, tepatnya Old Shanghai Sedayu City.
