Abstract

Latar Belakang: Diabetes melitus tipe 2 menyebabkan problem kesehatan seperti kematian. DM berkaitan dengan pola makan yang tidak baik yang dapat menyebabkan gizi buruk atau berlebih. Gizi buruk dapat berdampak pada keberlangsungan pergantian sel - sel sehingga tidak dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup. Apabila memiliki gizi baik maka akan berdampak pada kualitas hidup yang baik juga. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara status gizi dengan kualitas hidup pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 di poli rawat jalan penyakit dalam Siloam Hospital Lippo Village. Metode: Desain penelitian ini adalah studi potong lintang. Pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling sebanyak 71 pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 dengan rentang usia 40-70 tahun. Pengukuran data menggunakan kuesioner, Status Gizi diukur menggunakan Mini Nutritional Assessment (MNA) dan kualitas hidup pasien DM tipe 2 dengan ASIAN DQOL.Analisis data menggunakan fisher exact. Hasil: Responden penelitian ini berjumlah 71 orang yang terdiri dari 36 wanita dan 35 pria. Status gizi yang diperoleh hasil malnutrisi – beresiko malnutrisi sebanyak 64,7% dan dengan gizi baik sebanyak 35,2%. Dan kualitas hidup sedang – buruk di 87,3% dan baik di 12,7%. Kesimpulan: ada hubungan antara status nutrisi dan kualitas hidup pasien DM tipe 2 di Poli Rawat Jalan Penyakit Dalam Siloam Hospital Lippo Village dengan nila(p value= 0,043)./Background: Type 2 diabetes mellitus causes health problems such as death. DM is related to a bad diet that can lead to poor or excessive nutrition. Poor nutrition can have an impact on the continuity of cell turnover so that it cannot improve the quality of life. If you have good nutrition, it will have an impact on a good quality of life as well. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between nutritional status and the quality of life of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients in siloam hospital Lippo Village internal medicine outpatient. Method: The design of this study is a cross-sectional study. Sampling technique with purposive sampling as many as 71 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with an age range of 40-70 years. Data measurement using questionnaires, Nutritional Status was measured using Mini Nutritional Assessment (MNA) and quality of life of type 2 DM patients with ASIAN DQOL. Data analysis using fisher exact. Results: The respondents to this study were 71 people consisting of 36 women and 35 men. The nutritional status obtained from malnutrition – at risk of malnutrition as much as 64.7% and with good nutrition as much as 35.2%. And the quality of life is moderate – poor at 87.3% and good at 12.7%. Conclusion: there is a relationship between nutritional status and quality of life of dm type 2 patients at Siloam Hospital Lippo Village Internal Medicine Outpatient Poly with(p value= 0.043).
