Abstract

Mahasiswa tingkat akhir sedang berada pada tahap perkembangan yang sangat penting yaitu mengambil keputusan karier. Mereka memiliki pilihan untuk langsung bekerja, mendirikan usaha secara mandiri, melanjutkan studi ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi, atau mengambil spesialisasi pada bidang yang ditekuni. Untuk dapat membuat keputusan dengan tepat, mahasiswa tingkat akhir harus memiliki efikasi diri dalam mengambil keputusan karier (CDMSE). Salah satu faktor yang dapat memengaruhi CDMSE adalah keluarga. Maka, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keluarga terhadap CDMSE pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 209 mahasiswa tingkat akhir di Indonesia. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Family Influence Scales dan Career Decision Making Self-Efficacy Short Form yang telah diadaptasi ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh keluarga (informational support dan financial support) pada CDMSE pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir sebanyak 39%. Hasil juga menunjukan informational support (26.3%) dan financial support (8.8%) masing-masing memengaruhi CDMSE pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Namun karena data tidak berdistribusi normal dan tidak semua asumsi klasik terpenuhi, hasil penelitian ini tidak dapat digeneralisasikan. / Final-year students are at a very important stage of development, namely making career decisions. They have the option to go straight to work, set up their own business, continue their studies to a higher level, or specialize in their field of study. To be able to make the right decisions, final-year students must have career decisions making self-efficacy (CDMSE). One of the factors that can affect CDMSE is family. Thus, this study aims to determine the role of family influence on career decisions making self-efficacy in final-year students. The subjects of this study were 209 final-year students in Indonesia. The instruments used are Family Influence Scales and Career Decision Making Self-Efficacy Scale Short Form which has been adapted into Indonesian. The results of this study indicate that there is a family influence (informational support and financial support) on CDMSE in final-year students as much as 39%. The results also show that informational support (26.3%) and financial support (8.8%) respectively affect CDMSE in final-year students. However, because the data are not normally distributed and not all the classical assumptions are met, the results of this study cannot be generalized.
