Abstract

Kanker serviks merupakan suatu penyakit yang ditandai dengan pertumbuhan abnormal pada leher rahim dan menjadi salah satu penyebab utama kematian akibat kanker pada perempuan. Hal ini disebabkan karena rendahnya pengetahuan perempuan terhadap deteksi dini kanker serviks. Akibatnya, perempuan penderita kanker serviks terdiagnosis dalam kondisi stadium lanjut yang mengakibatkan sulitnya penanganan. Tingkat pendidikan seorang perempuan dapat mempengaruhi pengetahuan serta pola pikir akan kesadaran terhadap kesehatan yang berkaitan dalam pencegahan kanker serviks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara status pendidikan dengan tingkat pengetahuan terhadap deteksi dini kanker serviks pada perempuan usia reproduktif.Penelitian ini akan dilakukan menggunakan metode analitik komparatif kategorik tidak berpasangan dengan desain studi cross sectional. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 96 responden yang dilakukan di Puskesmas Majenang II Kabupaten Cilacap. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian diolah menggunakan analisis Chi Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara status pendidikan dengan tingkat pengetahuan terhadap deteksi dini kanker serviks pada perempuan usia reproduktif di Puskesmas Majenang II Kabupaten Cilacap dengan nilai signifikasi p=0.000, OR=12,353 (95% CI: 4,351-35,070). Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara status pendidikan terhadap tingkat pengetahuan mengenai kanker serviks pada perempuan usia reproduktif di Puskesmas Majenang II Kabupaten Cilacap./Cervical cancer is a disease characterized by abnormal growth of the cervix and is one of the main causes of death from cancer in women. This is due to the low knowledge of women on early detection of cervical cancer. As a result, women with cervical cancer are diagnosed at an advanced stage which makes treatment difficult. A woman's level of education can affect her knowledge and mindset about health awareness related to cervical cancer prevention. The aim to determine the relationship between educational status and level of knowledge on early detection of cervical cancer in women of reproductive age. This research will be conducted using unpaired categorical comparative analytic method with a cross sectional study design. The sample used in this study were 96 respondents who were conducted at the Majenang II Public Health Center, Cilacap Regency. Sampling in this study was conducted using simple random sampling method. The research results were processed using Chi Square analysis. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between educational status and level of knowledge regarding early detection of cervical cancer in women of reproductive age at the Majenang II Health Center, Cilacap Regency with a significance value of p = 0.000, OR = 12.353 (95% CI: 4.351-35.070). There is a significant relationship between educational status and level of knowledge about cervical cancer in women of reproductive age at Majenang II Health Center, Cilacap Regency.
