Abstract

Provinsi Jawa Tengah menempati urutan ketiga dengan angka perceraian tertinggi di Indonesia. Ketidakpuasan akan pernikahan menjadi salah satu penyebabnya. Salah satu hal yang memengaruhi kepuasan pernikahan adalah karakteristik yang dibawa individu yang cenderung stabil dan menetap dalam diri. Kestabilan diri dalam hubungan yang dimiliki disebut juga diferensiasi diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kontribusi diferensiasi diri terhadap kepuasan pernikahan ibu rumah tangga di Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Partisipan terdiri atas 133 figur istri di Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain korelasional dengan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat kontribusi signifikan yang diberikan diferensiasi diri secara keseluruhan terhadap kepuasan pernikahan. Dimensi emotional distancing tidak memberikan kontribusi signifikan secara individual. Sedangkan dimensi relational sensitivity dan maintaining identity memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap kepuasan pernikahan. / Central Java province ranks third with the highest divorce rate in Indonesia. Dissatisfaction with marriage is one of the causes. One of the things that influence marital satisfaction is the characteristics brought by individuals who tend to be stable and stay within themselves. Self-stability in the relationship that is owned is also called self-differentiation. This study aims to see the contribution of self-differentiation to the marital satisfaction of housewives in Central Java. The participants consisted of 133 wife figures from Central Java Province. This study uses a correlational design with multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant contribution given by self-differentiation as a whole to marital satisfaction. The emotional distancing dimension does not make a significant contribution individually. Meanwhile, the dimensions of relational sensitivity and maintaining identity contribute significantly to marital satisfaction.
