Abstract

Kasus kekerasan dalam pacaran banyak terjadi terutama terhadap kaum perempuan dewasa muda. Seseorang yang pernah mengalami kekerasan dalam pacaran akan merasa kasihan terhadap diri sendiri dan memiliki hope yang rendah. Rendahnya harapan yang mereka miliki menyebabkan mereka mengubur emosi positif dengan peristiwa buruk dan mengubah persepsi terkait dirinya menjadi negatif akibat peristiwa traumatis. Adanya Self-compassion dapat membantu korban memperbaiki persepsi negatif tentang diri mereka sendiri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melihat bagaimana hubungan self-compassion dan hope terhadap perempuan dewasa muda yang pernah mengalami kekerasan dalam pacaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif regresi dengan jumlah partisipan 94. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Skala Welas Diri dan The Hope Scale yang telah diadaptasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah menggunakan JASP. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara self-compassion terhadap harapan pada perempuan dewasa muda yang pernah mengalami kekerasan dalam pacaran / There are many cases of violence in dating, especially against young adult women. Someone who has experienced dating violence will feel ashamed of themselves and have low on hope. When people have low on hope, they will bury their positive emotions with bad events and change their perception of themselves into negative consequences of the traumatic event. Self-compassion can help victims improve negative perceptions about themselves. The purpose of this research was to see the impact of self-compassion to hope in young adult women who have experienced dating violence. This research uses regression quantitative research with 94 participants. The measuring instrument used in this research is the Self-Compassion Scale and The Hope Scale which have been adapted. The data obtained were then processed using JASP. The results of this research state that there is a significant influence between self-compassion on hope in young adult women who have experienced dating violence.
