Abstract

Fenomena pernikahan dini di Indonesia sampai saat ini masih terjadi, baik di kota besar maupun di desa. Keluarga memiliki peran penting dalam memberikan nilai dan edukasi terkait pernikahan, sedangkan dalam aspek hukum, izin orang tua sangat diperlukan untuk legalisasi pernikahan di Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui konstruksi sosial perempuan pelaku pernikahan dini di Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian fenomenologi. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori konstruksi realita sosial. Data diperoleh dengan melakukan wawancara dari tiga narasumber wanita yang melakukan pernikahan dini, triangulasi data dilakukan dengan satu psikolog. Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan di lapangan, pernikahan dini terjadi karena pola asuh keluarga dan dengan power distance yang terjadi pada keluarga narasumber. Habitualisasi budaya pernikahan di usia muda dan tradisi keluarga yang turun- temurun juga ditemukan yang membuat narasumber melakukan pernikahan dini, peran keluarga narasumber juga ditemukan lebih bersifat fungsional dimana memberikan dukungan berupa materi, sedangkan dalam aspek emosional seperti berbagi cerita, perhatian serta kasih sayang, narasumber akhirnya mendapatkan hal tersebut dari pasangan mereka serta kerabat terdekat. Penelitian berikutnya dapat difokuskan kepada konstruksi realita sosial dalam dengan pasangan laki-laki dan perempuan yang melakukan pernikahan dini untuk mengetahui lebih dalam konstruksi sosial yang terjadi pada pasangan yang menikah dini./ The phenomenon of early marriage in Indonesia is still happening, both in big cities and in villages. The family has an important role in providing values and education related to marriage, while in the legal aspect, parental consent is needed for the legalization of marriage in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to find out the social construction of women who engage in early marriage in Jakarta. This study uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological research methods. The theory used is the theory of social reality construction. The data were obtained by conducting interviews with three female informants who had early marriages, data triangulation was carried out with one psychologist. The results of research found in the field, early marriage occurs due to family upbringing and power distance that occurs in the informant's family. Habitualization of the culture of marriage at a young age and family traditions passed down from generation to generation were also found which made the interviewees engage in early marriage, the role of the informant's family was also found to be more functional in that it provided material support, while in the emotional aspect such as sharing stories, caring and affection, the resource persons finally got it from their partners and closest relatives. Subsequent research can focus on the construction of deep social reality with male and female partners who marry early to find out more about the social construction that occurs in couples who marry early.
