Abstract

Seiring dengan berjalannya waktu, hubungan diplomatik dan kerja sama yang dilakukan oleh negara di dunia internasional semakin banyak. Dengan adanya globalisasi, ekonomi juga mengalami perkembangan yang memunculkan ekonomi kreatif. Ekonomi kreatif juga menghasilkan turunan lagi dan muncullah industri baru yang bernama industri kreatif. Industri kreatif juga mencakup banyak sektor-sektor yang ada, namun untuk penelitian ini hanya memfokuskan kepada industri anime, manga, dan video games. Setiap industri ini memiliki jenis atau genre yang hampir keseluruhan itu sama dan ketiga industri ini saling berkaitan satu sama lain. Setiap industri ini juga memiliki sejarah yang panjang dan oleh karena itu juga memiliki pondasi yang kuat. Negara dan aktor non negara juga merupakan pihak yang berkaitan dengan industri ini. Dalam hubungan internasional, industri kreatif ini dapat dikatakan sebagai industri yang potensial untuk perekonomian suatu negara. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan teori Neoliberalisme dengan konsep soft power, second track diplomacy, dan diplomasi budaya. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dan sumber penelitian adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari, artikel jurnal, buku dan sumber daring. Pusat acuan penelitian adalah keberhasilan industri kreatif Jepang di Indonesia tahun 2012-2020. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa Jepang memiliki cara atau konsep yang berbeda dengan negara lain dan industri kreatif ini membawa pengaruh juga terhadap masyarakat suatu negara. Penelitian ini juga akan menganalisis faktor-faktor dari Jepang maupun Indonesia sebagai pusat pasar yang besar bagi Jepang. Dan peran dari pemerintah juga yang membawa industri kreatif ini bisa masuk dan perusahaan swasta juga turut andil dalam perkembangannya hingga mencapai keberhasilan. / Over time, diplomatic relations and cooperation carried out by countries in the international world are increasing. With globalization, the economy is also experiencing developments that give rise to the creative economy. The creative economy also produces more derivatives and a new industry called the creative industry appears. The creative industry also includes many existing sectors, but for this research it only focuses on the anime, manga, and video games industries. Each of these industries has almost the same type or genre and these three industries are related to one another. Each of these industries also has a long history and therefore also has a strong foundation. State and non-state actors are also parties related to this industry. In international relations, this creative industry can be regarded as a potential industry for a country's economy. This research will use the theory of Neoliberalism with the concept of soft power, second track diplomacy, and cultural diplomacy. This research will use a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Research data and sources are secondary data obtained from journal articles, books and online sources. The center of research reference is the success of Japanese creative industries in Indonesia in 2012-2020. The results of the study show that Japan has a way or concept that is different from other countries and this creative industry also has an influence on the people of a country. This research will also analyze the factors of Japan and Indonesia as major market centers for Japan. And the role of the government is also the one that brings this creative industry to enter and private companies also take part in its development until it achieves success.
