Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan kegiatan yang dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan rasa kepedulian terhadap masyarakat dengan cara berbagi pengetahuan dan keterampilan terutama kepada kelompok UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah) yang mana membutuhkan banyak perhatian dari segi ekonomi dan keterampilannya. Tujuan Kegiatan Pelayanan Komunitas ini adalah (1) Untuk berbagi pengetahuan dan keterampilan dimiliki oleh mahasiswa melalui mata kuliah di program studi Fakultas Pariwisata Manajemen Perhotelan, Universitas Pelita Harapan, (2) Memperkenalkan kepada Kelompok SML UMKM Centre terkait hidangan penutup berbahan dasar mentimun. Oleh karena itu, tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat membuat program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dalam bentuk workshop dengan cara mengajarkan kelompok SML UMKM Centre BSD mengenai cara membuat beberapa produk hidangan penutup berbahan dasar mentimun. Diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat bermanfaat bagi Kelompok SML UMKM Centre BSD dan dapat dikembangkan menjadi sebuah inovasi baik dari segi penjualan, keterampilan, dan dapat menjadi pengetahuan baru yang bermanfaat dikemudian hari. Kata kunci : Mentimun, dessert , buku resep. / Community service is an activity needed to increase a sense of concern for the community by sharing knowledge and skills especially for the MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) group which requires a lot of attention from an economic perspective and skills. The objectives of this Community Service Activity are (1) To share knowledge and skills possessed by students through courses in the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Study Program of Pelita Harapan University,(2) Introducing the SML UMKM Centre Group regarding cucumber- based desserts. Therefore, the Community Service team created a Community Service program in the form of a workshop by teaching the SML UMKM Centre BSD group how to make several cucumber-based dessert products. It is hoped that this activity will be useful for the SML UMKM Centre BSD Group and can be developed into an innovation both in terms of sales, skills, and can become useful new knowledge in the future.
