Abstract

Tidak dapat disangkal bahwa anak-anak sering memilih makanan yang tidak higienis saat makan jajanan di sekolah karena mereka belum bisa membuat pilihan makanan yang benar-benar sehat dan bersih. Sehingga orang tua bisa menghindari hal tersebut dengan menyiapkan bekal dari rumah. Tentu saja, makanan yang disiapkan di rumah sudah terjamin cara pembuatan dan bahan yang digunakan, sehingga bisa dipastikan bersih. Dengan begitu, orang tua dituntut untuk menjadi lebih kreatif dalam membuat ide bekal untuk anak. Orang tua pun perlu menyiapkan bekal yang ringkas dan mudah untuk dimakan. Hal ini membuat dumpling sangat cocok menjadi ide bekal untuk orang tua di luar sana. Dengan itu dilaksanakannya kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) dengan menyebarkan pengetahuan dasar mengenai pembuatan dumpling sebagai ide bekal untuk anak. Alasan dalam memilih kegiatan PkM di Desa Tegal Angus karena masyarakat-nya masih banyak yang belum mengetahui dan mengenal Dumpling. Kata Kunci : Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, Dumpling, bekal. / It is undeniable that children often choose unhygienic foods when eating snacks at school because they are not yet able to make really healthy and clean food choices. So that parents can avoid this by preparing supplies from home. Of course, the food prepared at home has guaranteed the method of preparation and the ingredients used, so you can be sure it's clean. That way, parents are required to be more creative in making ideas for their children. Parents also need to prepare lunches that are concise and easy to eat. This makes dumplings very suitable as a lunch idea for parents out there. With that, community service activities (PkM) were carried out by spreading basic knowledge about making dumplings as a provisionidea for children. The reason for choosing PkM activities in Tegal Angus is becausemany people still don't know about dumplings. Keywords: Community Service, Dumpling, lunchbox
