Abstract

Investment activities are becoming more popular in Indonesia. The number of capital market investors as of 30th December 2021 reached 7.49 million people, an increase of 92.99% from the end of 2020 which is 3.88 million people and according to the Finance and Investment academic 85-90% of investors fail. Therefore, this research aims to assist investors in understanding more deeply about the effect of company size, Return on Equity and Net Profit Margin toward stock returns. This research uses a quantitative method with 24 companies listed on the IDX of food and beverage sub-sector during 2019-2021 with the total data of 72 data to be research. Based on the results of the SPSS test conducted by the writer, company size and Net Profit Margin partially have no significant effect toward stock returns. Return on Equity partially has a significant effect toward stock return. While company size, Return on Equity and Net Profit Margin have a significant simultaneously effect toward stock returns./ Kegiatan investasi semakin populer di Indonesia. Jumlah investor pasar modal per 30 Desember 2021 mencapai 7,49 juta orang, meningkat 92,99% dari akhir tahun 2020 yaitu 3,88 juta orang dan menurut akademisi Keuangan dan Investasi 85-90% investor gagal. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu investor dalam memahami lebih dalam tentang pengaruh ukuran perusahaan, Return on Equity, dan Net Profit Margin terhadap return saham. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan 24 perusahaan yang terdaftar di BEI subsektor makanan dan minuman selama tahun 2019-2021 dengan total data sebanyak 72 data yang akan diteliti. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian SPSS yang dilakukan oleh penulis, ukuran perusahaan dan Net Profit Margin secara parsial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap return saham. Return on Equity secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap return saham. Sedangkan ukuran perusahaan, Return on Equity dan Net Profit Margin secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap return saham.
